Newcastle MBA Scholarships are offered by the university are made available to the brilliant students entering the Full-time MBA program beginning in September 2020. The scholarship amount varies from 7000 EUR to 24,000 EUR. The awards which vary from scholarship to scholarship will be credited to the student’s fee account. Applicants are required to submit application form for some scholarship covered under Newcastle MBA scholarship. For others, they will be automatically considered.

Eligibility Criteria

To secure Newcastle MBA Scholarship, applicants must apply to the MBA program and secure admission at Newcastle Business School.

Apart from that, applicants must meet the eligibility requirements listed below:

Applicants must demonstrate (through application and at interview) strong leadership experience.
They must have potential and a positive career trajectory to date.
Must have substantive managerial experience between 3- 6 years and more.
Must hold the equivalent of a UK 2:1 honors degree
- (however, applicants who do not meet this requirement but can demonstrate relevant work experience above the minimum plus significant career progression may also be considered)
Must perform well at interview across all competency areas

Must hold an English language qualification of IELTS 6.5 or its equivalent with no subskill below 6.0

Application Process

No external application is required for the MBA leadership Scholarship and MBA Business Excellence Scholarship.

For MBA European Excellence Scholarships, separate applications are to be submitted online. It must be accompanied by an essay on the topic mentioned below:
- Examine opportunities for business leaders to promote and utilize multicultural perspectives to improve business performance.
For Regional Impact Scholarship, separate applications along with an essay of 1500 words must be submitted. The topic of the essay is :
- The North East of England is leading the way in reinventing itself for the future of work in the 21st century. Examine opportunities this presents for businesses in the region.

Selection Process

Once the applications are received by the university. Next comes the selection process.

The successful applicants will be selected based on academic merit, performance at interview, and the response of essays submitted and career progression to date.
Recipients must accept their scholarship offer within the timeframe mentioned in the offer letter.

Terms and conditions regarding Newcastle MBA Scholarship:

Students who already have fully- sponsored students are ineligible for these awards.
The university has the right to suspend payment and recover any scholarship amounts which have already been made to the students having full funding.
Also, MBA scholarships will not be confirmed until the candidates meet all the conditions.
The Business School’s decision regarding the MBA scholarship awards will be considered final. No appeal against the decision should be made.
The awards will not be transferred deferred for the next academic years.

Grant Details

Newcastle MBA Scholarship is offered to students pursuing MBA program at Newcastle University Business School. The scholarship amount depends on the student’s eligibility and the kind of scholarship they are applying to. The scholarship amount varying from 7,000 EUR to 22,800 EUR will be credited into the student’s tuition fee account.
