Adobe Women in Technology Scholarship

The Adobe Women in Technology Scholarship is an initiative taken to aim at empowering women in the field of technology by providing financial assistance to them based on their academic intelligence.

  • Eligible candidates must be pursuing a Major or Minor in the following streams:
    • Computer Science/Engineering
    • Information Science
    • Data Science
    • Mathematics and Computing
  • Recipients are awarded with 10,000 USD as a one-time payment reward. In addition, they receive one-year Creative Cloud subscription membership
  • The candidate must be able to demonstrate leadership qualities and participation in school and community activities
  • The selected Adobe Women in Technology Scholarship recipients will get an opportunity to apply for an internship at Adobe.

Every year up to 250 applications are accepted. The applications will remain open until 250 applications are received.

Eligibility Criteria

The eligibility criteria for the Adobe Research Women in Technology Scholarship are as follows:

  • Identify as a female
  • Currently enrolled as an undergraduate (2nd year or above) or Masters student at the North American University
    • First-year UG and Graduating students are not eligible.
  • Majoring in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related subjects.
  • Have a strong academic record.

All the applicants must note that they will not be considered for the scholarship if they are related to an Adobe employee.


Application Process

To apply for the Adobe Women in Technology scholarship, adhere to the following instructions:

  1. Visit Scholarship America Hub and register as a new student
  2. You will get registration link on your provided email ID
    • Click on it and set a password
  3. Upon login, complete your profile.
  4. Start your application and add all the necessary details
  5. Attach all necessary documents
  6. Submit your scholarship application

After submitting your application a confirmation that your application was submitted will be sent to your registered email address.

Documents Required

Each applicant’s scholarship application must include the following:

  • Resume
  • Citizenship proof (for Adobe India WIT scholarship)
  • Academic Transcript
  • Three Letter of recommendation
  • Four essay questions
  • Optional 60-sec video demonstrating your dream career

Note: Applications for the year 2022-2023 are closed.


Selection Process

A committee of visionary volunteers from Adobe Research and Digital Media Teams will review all the applications and select the winners.

Women in Technology Scholars are selected considering the following factors:

  • Academic Records
  • Essays
  • Recommendation letter

Students may be invited for a phone interview for further selection. The final decision is made by the volunteer committee only. Winners are notified via email.

The Adobe Women in Technology Scholarship is a great opportunity for female students with I.T background to get financial assistance. This scholarship recognizes females with outstanding intellect who attain leadership qualities and aims at improving the software industry in the future.
