SG
7.8 /10

This was a natural extension of my role at Standard Chartered bank in the wealth space. I was from a marketing background working in finance and therefore needed a formal ground to progress in the field of wealth and finance. This degree was essential for my next step.

Course Curriculum :

It is an amazing course and prepares you well for the technical world outside. Everything is very practical and hands. You will be tested and prepared for intense topics, pushed to acquire skills, and make an amazing network. The professors are all from the industry directly or with extensive industrial experience- hence you learn the present trends and are pushed to forecast the future. Research is part of the graded curriculum.

Exams :

IELTS- great than overall Band 7, GMAT is NOT compulsory but helps strengthen the application.

Placement :

The placement process is self-guided. There is no placement drive or on-campus placement culture. Companies visit for talks and to distribute awareness of their roles but we have to apply and reach out directly. Highly network-driven. From JP Morgan to Bain to Start-ups- all companies visit the campus. Applications are made directly online. The on-campus career team supports us through the process and guides us right from CV building to the final interview

Internship :

No, I didn't get an internship.

Events :

Over 100 clubs and societies to choose from. Uncounted company events on campus. Amazing lab and infrastructure offering. Diversity in food and culture. One of the most extensive libraries spanning 5 floors and cafeterias inside. High-end IT infrastructure in the classrooms. Personalized study dashboard for out-of-campus studies.

Fees :

One year - GBP 34,500. Gets revised every year.

Scholarship :

No, I didn't receive any scholarship.

Faculty :

All of them are beyond amazing. We had dedicated timings we could book with faculty if we wanted meetings and they happily obliged to give us one on one time. The studies work the way you want to make them work. In a way, you are the boss of your needs and requirements.

Hostel :

Post-graduates don’t have on-campus housing. Private student accommodation options available ranging from GBP 800-1400 per month (depending on area and preferences).
