Not only being one of the top 100 universities in the world, University of Leeds is known for its research work. The programme I chose which is Electrical and Renewable Energy System, I could not find the syllabus that includes both generation, distribution and renewable in any other UK universities.
Course Curriculum :
My course Academics and curriculum are really good. In one of the modules, one of the industrial expert taught half of the syllabus which really helped me getting some real time industrial exposure. The lab facilities and IT facilities are really impressive.
Exams :
Mostly IELTS/TOEFL is enough. I took IELTS with 6.5 in Writing, Reading and Speaking, 7 in Listening
Placement :
If you do not have any previous work experience, you can start applying for graduate roles and internships with the help of career centre. Career centre will help you in evaluating your CV, Cover letter, interviews and the whole application process. University career fairs are conducted every year in each semester where you can directly meet the company representatives to talk about the role you can apply for or what job role suits you profile.
Events :
The whole campus has free WIFI and the libraries in my campus are really good. The campus provides you free gym membership if you stay in student accommodation. There are hundreds of clubs and societies inside the campus running by students. You can try any of them with the give it a go session they are offering at the start of the year.
Scholarship :

Faculty :
The professors and lecturers from my course are really helpful and open to any doubts that we are having related to the modules. We are also get allocated to one mentor and personal tutor in order to get help from, whether it is related to course or other things.
Hostel :
There are university and private accommodations available. University accommodations are expensive but safe and secure. You can get free gym memberships, able to attend free events, free printers would be available inside the accommodation.
