Aberystwyth University is a public research university in Aberystwyth, Wales founded in 1872 as University College Wales, Aberystwyth. Campus
- Aberystwyth University is housed on three Campuses; Penglais, Llanbadarn, and Gogerddan
- The Penglais campus located in Penglais, Aberystwyth SY23 3FL, United Kingdom and acts as the main campus of the university
- Penglais often referred to as cultural capital of Wales is some distance away from the historic seaside town of Aberystwyth
- Penglais campus is also home to the largest Arts Centre in Wales with a boutique cinema, theatre and live music venues
- The campus is locked between the Cambrian Mountains and Cardigan Bay.
- The Penglais campus location is characterized by the rugged landscape of rolling hills, sea, valleys, and surrounded with colorful Victorian architecture
