What students say about ITM University

Likes

  • It's wonderful that I am living this college life with my friend.
  • I like the campus and the environment Of the campus it is very nice and spacious i like the food court area which there is the sitting area also for the students and facilities as well .
  • Timing of the college is good you will be free by 4pm
  • The greenery in the campus and many images: Lights remain on at night till 10 pm without any interruption
  • I love my college because it provide quality of education at affordable price .
  • About the sports I t m university provide better opportunity for sports person
  • There are so many different kind of blocks for study for good.

Dislike

  • I would say that the course curriculum is very poor, in my opinion, as there is no focus on practical learning.
  • College does not provide an internship program for all students. We have conducted interviews with other companies to select candidates for the internship program.
  • The State Bank of India provides bank loans nowadays without any fee, for both toppers and anyone else.
  • You are forced to remember the bad days of my college life ;P. The gender ratio in my branch (EC) was 95:5, and overall it would be near about 85:15.
  • The infrastructure of the hostel is good, but there are no facilities for food. The mess is good, but the food served in the mess is very bad. The quality of food is very poor. The plates are not cleaned properly, and there are no water glasses or spoons.
  • It only looks good due to its infrastructure; nothing more. The faculty is very bad, the facility bad, and the food very bad. The infrastructure is good, but the competition level is bad. There are no tournaments for college students. Being located outside the city on Jhansi highway poses a transportation problem.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Like every PCB student in class 12th, I also wanted to opt for MBBS, but I couldn't clear the AIPMT exam (now known as NEET-UG) on my first try. My scores weren't great so I thought to look for other options and BSc Food Technology was something that I was fascinated with. There were only 17 students in my class and there were 4 faculties in our department. Some of the subjects were also taught by the faculties of other life science departments. Most of our faculties were usually master's and Ph.D. holders. And they were too good with their teachings. We usually had 3 exams each semester and the exams were pretty easy to pass.

Remarks:

The admission process for BSc Food Technology was a direct admission based on merit. The eligibility for the course was 10+2 with science with a minimum aggregate of 50% marks. Every detail about the application form, fees, and application dates is available on the official website of ITM University. The candidates can easily reach out to the admission office for any queries. There is no such benefit offered to the reserved category students at ITM University. - The admission process at ITM University is very seamless. I was able to complete most of my formalities online. The rest of the admission formalities like the document verification and fee submission was done at the university itself and there was always a counselor to assist me. I don't think there is any other improvement required.

Placement Experience:

From the 5th semester for the 3-year program and the 7th semester for the 4-year program, the students are allowed to participate in the campus placement. The highest placement at my time was 10LPA. A good amount of companies come for the placement and a high percentage of students get placed every year.

Remarks:

The eligibility of the course was 12th pass with a minimum of 55% in PCB/PCM. The application process was quite easy as the faculty over there is very supportive. The registration fee is Rs 11000, from which 10,000 is adjusted in the course fees. There's an exam called ITM NEST, which is basically a scholarship test to avail of the scholarship according to your percentage scored in this exam.
