Candidate must have 10+2 examination/equivalent examination conducted by an Education Board/University/Council (duly recognized by the Rajasthan Board, CBSE, New Delhi) with not less than pass marks in each subject and not less than 50% marks in the aggregate of English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology. However, in the case of SC/ST candidates, the minimum aggregate required is 40%. OR Any examination of a University/Education Board/ College/School in a foreign country recognized by the Academic Council as an equivalent for the purpose with good knowledge of English.
Admission is on the basis of merit through an RPVT competitive entrance examination conducted by Rajasthan University of Veterinary & Animal Science.
Age: 17 years on or before the 31 December of the year of his/her admission to the 1st year of B.V.Sc. & A.H. course.
The Rajasthan University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences offers B.V.Sc. & A.H. at UG level with total 360 seats. The course also consists of a six months internship and the total duration of full time course is 5 ½ years.

Note- 15 seats in B.V.Sc. & A.H. are reserved for ICAR candidates. For general candidates, the minimum and maximum age for qualifying is 17 and 28 year, respectively. There is 5 years relaxation in age for boys (SC/ST/OBC/SBC), girls from general category and 10 years for girls belonging to SC/ST/OBC/SBC.
Selection Criteria
Admission to B.V.Sc. & A.H. is done on the basis of valid score in RPVT, Rajasthan Pre Veterinary Competitive Examination followed by Counselling.
