- I like the coding culture that is in my college is excellent.
- Placement oppurtunity given by vit is very good where every student is guarenteed to get atleast one job in hand when leaving the campus.
- The college has a very good placement record, so we go out with flying colors
- If we came to studies part it is very good opportunity to utilize in vit.
- The placement training and orientation is very good and helps us get jobs.
Dislike
- The research carried out by teachers is on very boring topics, something that doesnt inspire me at least.
- In the final semester, students usually head out of VIT for internships for their final projects.
- Our college always tries to show off their college placement records. They only show the icing on the cake, but the reality is often disappointing.
- Loan facilities are bad, with an interest rate of 10 percent. If you have a scholarship and a CGPA of more than 8, you will receive 10,000 rupees. It is offered to students from poor backgrounds. The loan facilities provided by VIT universities are bad.
- There are hardly any extracurricular activities, but even if there is an event, the management is very poor and always fails to send the information to everyone.
- Preference is given to 9-pointers, which is a really stupid rule, and the hostels arent really affordable as well.
- Some hostel blocks should have room changes, which are the only negative comment about VIT college.

Placement Experience:
After 3rd-year 2nd sem students become eligible for placements. 700+ companies visited in the year 2022 for placements and 70%+ students got the offer. As of 2022, the Highest package is 1.01cr and the average package is around 8.18lakhs yearly. My plan is to work for 2 years and then apply for a Master.
Remarks:
To take admission in VIT's any campus, we have to apply for VITEEE, entrance exam of VIT. Application form will be available in www.vit.ac.in, official website of VIT. As per year 2022, application fees was 1,250 Rs. There is no reservation facility provided by institute. The results are purely based on merit. No improvement needed in process.
Placement Experience:
Students are eligible for placements from the 7th semester. According to last year's statistics, more than 200 companies visit vit vellore and numerous offers are made. Highest package- 1.01 Cr Avg package- 8L More than 90% of students are placed I plan on pursuing MBA after this degree
Remarks:
12th pass should appear in the VITEEE examination to get admission to the college. There are no reservations based on any caste. The tuition fee is decided on the rank that you achieve in viteee exam and the branch that you select

In 7th sem students can start to apply for companies and get an internship the average placement of vit is around 8LPA vit claim that 100% placement but you can apply off campus also if you didn't get placement the highest package of vit is gone around 1cr

The only way to take Admission to VIT VELLORE is by giving VITEEE based on this your RANK will come and depending on that your CATAGORY will be given and there are a fees STRUCTURE CAT 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 cat 1 fees around 148000 and it increases as your cat increases the max they take is around 500000 depends on which courses you register If your rank is under 10 then you will get a scholarship from VIT The admission process is very good and simple just give VITEEE

People become eligible for placement from the 7th-semester companies registered I like very much you get almost 400 companies per year of some the top companies are Google Microsoft Amazon and you have that Goldman Sachs Paytm PayPal and many others b companies that give a good package the highest package 97% my plans getting the degree to take placement I think I am also thinking if I didn't get a good placement so thinking of going to higher studies like MBA

The admission is through the Sudha entrance examination VIT EEE exam you can find this application form on the site of VIT Vellore that is the main website and also you can find the application fees and application dates whenever the dates are available for the form there are no reservation benefits because it is a private college. There are some reservations for the child who is the rank between 1 to 1000 they get scholarships over the tuition fees. Improvement in the admission process can only be this they should increase the number of centres for their entrance examination.
Placement Experience:
We have 98% placements in our college for that they will take 8k from students. And our average package was around 8L LPA and we get some summer internship opportunities that can give 1L per month. So we need to prepare well to get placement.
Remarks:
First, they will take a entrance exam called viteee based on that they will give ranks and with that rank, they will divide into batches and conduct counseling in which they will choose the students based on their requirements.
Placement Experience:
There is a policy by Vit that every student should get placed in some company with at least one offer in hand. From the 7th semester, students are eligible for placements if they have no backlogs. More than 700 companies are visiting VIT, the most famous companies are Microsoft, Morgan Stanley, Jp Morgan Chase, Qualcomm, AMD, Intel, etc. The highest package is 1.02 crore this year. The average package is 8 lakh per annum. The percentage of students placed is 90%. My plan after getting placement is to grow in my career.
Remarks:
Our batch is in 2020, so there was no particular examination for our batch. It was based on our JEE and 12 scores they have given admission. But for regular batches the scenario is different they need to write VITEEE the total number of questions is 125 and no negative marking. 40 from mathematics. 35 each from physics and chemistry. The time duration is 2:30 min, and the application fee is 1350 GST excluded. We can write offline in test centers.

we need to give VITEEE EXAM after that they will publish cut off for all the branches and on behalf of your ranks they will allow you to sit in counselling and accordingly they will give you options to select branches and your fees category.
Course Curriculum Overview:
Information Technology was very similar to cse so I picked it. the classrooms are either way it is very hard to get the course and faculty that you pick and be careful of blacklisted faculties. The faculties basically teach from ppts they read it out and leave after taking attendance. Every other month exams happen no preparation time would be given for exams they happen parallelly.75 % minimum attendance is mandatory for writing exams. Getting medical leave will also be counted as absent.
Remarks:
Generally, we need to take the VITEEE exam but my batch was admitted based on the jee mains percentile and board percentage, any other notable things, I had no reservations got a rank around 5000 and was eligible for cse category 1 in round 2 of counselling. But the process was confusing so I ended up in Information Technology category 1. All information will be available on their official website
Placement Experience:
From the 7th semester, placement starts for internships and full-time offers. Almost all reputed companies visit the campus for placements. Almost 90% are placed. The average package for cse/it is 10 lpa; for other branches, it can go from 5 to 8 lpa. Opportunities to go abroad for higher studies are also there with programs like it, sap, etc.
Remarks:
VITEEE was the exam, it was pretty easy and you had to fetch a rank under 10k to be in the first category branches. After that, you would get other categories with fees increasing by almost a lakh per year. For admission into computer science or information technology branches, you will need a rank under 10k for the first 3 categories. VITEEE is much easier than other engineering entrance examinations like jee mains. One can read ncert books to crack it easily. There is no reservation in this college. The application form and dates could be found on the Vellore institute of technology's main website. The cutoff also varies differently for the different college locations with Vellore being the highest followed by Chennai then Andra Pradesh then Bhopal. Improvements could be done is to remove the category system and taking admission only on merit and the admission entrance test could be made harder and closer to the level of jee mains to ensure a better quality of students.
