Allahabad University BSc Eligibility Criteria

For all the B.Sc courses, the candidates are required to complete a 10+2 level board exam from a recognized board with the minimum required score with major science subjects like maths, physics and chemistry, to be eligible for admission.

Allahabad University BSc Admission Criteria

Admission to B.Sc program will be done through Common University Entrance Test (CUET) conducted by NTA. The Merit list for counseling and admission to all courses will be operationalized by the Coordinator CUET -2023 (Nodal Officer of NTA).

Allahabad University BSc Entrance Exam Pattern

Admission to B.Sc course is strictly based on the CUET scores followed by counseling. The entrance test will consist of 3 sections. First is language, second is “Domain-specific topics”, and the third one is general knowledge. Details are as follows:

English or Hindi is compulsory for all students seeking admission to the University of Allahabad under the compulsory Language section 1A of CUET.
Candidates are required to appear in at least one domain-specific subjects of section-2 of CUET. Specialisation wise domain-specific subjects are as follows:
- For B.Sc (Home Science/Family & Community Science): Home Science
- For B.Sc Maths: Physics, Mathematics, Computer Science (Compulsory to select any two from the three options in the domain)
- For B.Sc Bio: Biology, Chemistry (both domain compulsory)
In section III of CUET, candidates will have to appear for a general test.

Allahabad University BSc Application Process

Candidates applying for B.Sc admission at Allahabad University must apply for CUET on the official website of NTA. The application process is as follows:

Candidates must first visit the official CUET website that is: @cuet.samarth.ac.in.
Upon opening the website candidates will find the ‘Register’ tab, they must click on it.
After reading and understanding the information provided, candidates must hit the ‘Proceed’ button.
After this, candidates will be directed to the application form. Candidates must fill in the required details carefully.
After filling the necessary details candidates will have to upload important documents such as signature, photograph, marksheet, etc. Candidates must upload all the required documents.
Candidates need to pay the application fee at the time of submitting the form or else the Online Application Form will not be considered.
After submitting the fee, candidates print out the form and save a hard copy for future references.
Candidates can login to their portals for any new updates, college cutoffs and so forth.

Ques. Can a Student with an academic year gap get admission in Allahabad University to its B.Sc programme?

Ans. Yes, a student with a year gap or a year drop can apply to the B.Sc programmes offered by Allahabad University. However, there will be a deduction of 5% of the marks secured in the entrance exam for every year gap from the marks obtained upto a maximum of 15% deduction (for 3 years of gap).

Knowledge about our college.

I choose this course because I opt PCM in my intermediate, and to continue my studies in mathematics I choose this course. In our college, there are at least 3 professors for a single paper on a subject and every professor teaches a class of at least 120 students. They are highly educated as most of them have done Ph.D. in a particular topic from renowned universities. In every semester we go through an internal exam and an end semester exam internal exam of mathematics is done at least 2 months before the end semester and practical exams of physics and chemistry are done at the time of the end semester exam.

The faculty members of this course are very quality and their guidance helps a lot. The quality of this course is famous in our college. I chose this course because Many people have become scientists by doing this course at my college. Our university has 250 seats in this course and accordingly we have a large number of faculty members. Our professors are more qualified than all PhD holders. Here the exam is done for a long time but it is done with the same embroidery, the exams are very difficult, if you fail then you will not be passed, and you will have to give back the paper.

The Bachelor of Science course is very good in this college and the faculty members here are also very good, their way of teaching is very different. Ewing Christian College is considered to be the best college in Prayagraj. Because classes are conducted here regularly, such good classes are not conducted anywhere else. As you, all may know that due to the coronavirus, the colleges were closed but Ewing Christian College runs regularly online. The faculty members of this college are all Ph.D. holders, and their method of teaching is like that of a scientist. Exams are semester wise and every semester is on 6 months. 4:00 to 4:30 to over in 5 months.
