Gautam Buddha University is a government university established in 2002 offers a four-year full-time B.Tech (Bachelor of Technology) program in six different specializations divided into eight semesters.

All admissions are through GBU - ET (Gautam Buddha University Entrance Test ) conducted by the university.

Gautam Buddha University B Tech Eligibility Criteria

Candidates seeking admission in the B.Tech program should pass 10+2 with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with Chemistry/ Biotechnology / Biology / Technical Vocational Subjects and obtain at least 45% marks (40% for SC/ST) in the above subjects taken together.
The eligibility criteria are the same for admissions in the five-year integrated program.
University can cancel a candidate’s admission at any time without any notice if there is any discrepancy found in the eligibility of the candidature.

Gautam Buddha University B Tech Admission Guidelines

Admissions are on the basis of the candidate’s performance in the GBU- ET examination conducted by the university itself. The entrance test is conducted in 54 cities across the country. Students are advised to go through the admission guidelines and brochure available on the official website.

How to Apply?

Application forms are available on the university website where candidates can fill the form and submit it along with the application fee through Credit Card/Debit Card/ Net Banking/UPI.
Candidates seeking admission in the B.Tech program will have to take the entrance test conducted by the university.

It is generally a new course we are the 2nd batch in B.Tech in Artificial Intelligence there are faculty who are well qualified which are mostly the senior faculty. Guest faculty are also there and generally, few are gems rest are just a teacher to guides them to follow some external platform to gain knowledge.

The B.tech Life in GBU

I choose this course because I like and interest in electronics related fields as I had made many projects in school for purpose of daily life like LPG gas leakage detectors. And I want to learn new things about automation systems and explore them. There are 60+ highly qualified faculties and over 1000+ students. All faculties are Ph.D. and highly qualified, and their teaching method is very innovative and informative. There is one mid-term exam and one end-term exam. And average to pass.

GBU Review

I chose this course because I have an interest in computers and due to its great placements. There are enough faculties for every batch. In every class of B.Tech, there are approx. 50-60 students. The faculty is mostly good but of course, there are exceptions. study material and guidance are provided properly. There's an academic calendar provided on the site at the starting of the session and everything happens according to it. There are delays only if there are unavoidable circumstances. Mostly everything comes from the notes provided by faculty and hence core subjects are easy to pass.

GBU Internet vs Reality

I opted for the CSE branch but got IT due to the unavailability of seats. The faculty-student ratio in some batches is great but in some batches, the ratio nearly gets to 1.5 times normal i.e. 1:50. Most of the faculties are on a contract basis, they are young and hence they understand students a bit better. Overall the study is not too great but not too bad as well. Two exams are taken mainly the mid-sem exam and the end-sem exam. In my experience, none of these has been taken timely to date. The paper for the examination is quite ok not too hard with a little bit of effort one can easily pass the exams.

B.Tech at GBU

I chose the course for the electrical boom in various sources, there are around 15-20 teachers along with a Lab assistant and other people for 60 students in the class makes a good ratio. Most of the teachers are master qualified some of them are Ph. D. holders.
