How are the placements at IIIT Vadodara?

The placements of IIIT Vadodara have drastically improved with time, and a lot of improvement is seen in the last few years in respect of companies visiting the campus and packages offered by them. The maximum of 12 LPA seems to be not that satisfactory as the highest package offered to CS graduates, but for IIIT Vadodara, this is the first proper placement session after the formation of the new committee. The placement cell is quite cooperative to students and helps them regarding every placement-related issue. Overall, considering the first placement session from a new committee, it can be considered to have a bright future ahead.

What is the highest, lowest and average packages to IIIT, Vadodara?

One of my friends studying at IIIT Vadodara said that the Placement cell is really hardworking and dedicated towards a students future. The placement statistics are improving every year. IIIT Vadodara witnessed all the registered students of B.Tech get placed. They have a 100% placement record. A huge hike in the average package was seen with more than 11 lakhs per annum. The college received over 8 international offers from across 30 companies. The companies offered jobs in various fields like software engineering, research and development, and associate data scientist, etc. Some of the top visiting companies include Adobe, Mathworks, Amazon, Samsung, Maq software, Intel, etc. They also offered 3rd-year B.Tech students a 2 months summer internship. This really helps students in getting pre-placement offers (PPOs) from the companies. How is IIIT, Vadodara? Are the placements good?

A relative of mine used to be a student of IIIT Vadodara and he is all praise for the institute. The college has improved a lot over the years and is still improving. The coding culture of the institute is evolving by the day. The seniors as well as the faculty will enthusiastically support you. The institute is still undergoing development and may not be able to stand toe to toe with other elite institutes but the students are hopeful that someday it will. Major companies that have participated in the placement drive are Adobe, CodeNation, DirectL, etc. Some students also ended up bagging internships during the summer break. The internships were offered by Mathworks, Amazon, Quikr, etc. Another big names that have offered placements are PayTm. KPGM has offered placements off-campus. A few students have also interned for companies in Germany, France, and Japan. The institute has been gaining repute and things are looking good and they will no doubt get better. My relative has no regrets whatsoever when he graduated from this IIIT Vadodara.

72 companies visited in the year 2022-23 including some big names like Amazon, Samsung, Microsoft, Adobe, Matlab and so on. The overall highest package offered is 41 LPA and the avg package is 15.73 LPA while the median package is 13.5 LPA. In the ongoing placements, currently, 90.65% of interested students got placed.

Internships Opportunities:

Students can apply for both off-campus internships and on-campus internships through the institute. Companies including Amazon, Microsoft, and Goldman Sachs provide good internship opportunities for students.

Placement Experience:

Campus placements are good it starts from the 7th sem and students with 6 or 6.5 cpi and above are eligible there are also some internships available for students in 3rd year and almost 90 per cent or greater people are placed

Internships Opportunities:

Most of the companies which come to placement also give internships to students so they join in January in the same company as an intern and get trained there so they are completely ready for their job and stipend varies from company to company
