Established in the year 2018, Sardar Patel University is a state private university situated in Madhya Pradesh. Situated in a serene and lush green environment, the university stretches over a massive 80 acres of land in Dongariya village near the city of Balaghat.

SPU Balaghat Admissions

Admission to the courses in Sardar patel university is either merit based or based on the qualifying scores of entrance exams.

The students would be offered admission to various courses on the following basis -

Engineering programme: marks secured in JEE Mains and the qualifying exam
Management programme: marks secured in CAT, MAT, XAT, GMAT ATMA, GATE, GRE, CMAT and the qualifying exam
Ph.D.: Entrance examination and interview conducted by the University level
Other Courses: marks secured in the qualifying examinations

SPU Balaghat Scholarships

To aid the meritorious/economically weak students, Sardar Patel university conducts a scholarship cum admission test (SPU-SAT) whereby the students can get upto 100% scholarship.

The details of the test are as follows:

The university houses a grand Central library that spreads over an area of 1250 sq. m. the library is fully air conditioned with CCTV surveillance and Fire Alarm. It has a vast collection of Books, Journals and various other resources such as e-books, volumes, CDs\DVDs etc.

The Central Library also provides access to a plethora of national and international e- journals. The facility of a digital library is also available and it uses LIBSYS software for Library automation.

Worth Experiencing

Admission:

I applied for the entrance exam which was NEET. Successfully, I cleared it and then applied to several universities through online procedure wherein my merit scores was obtained based on higher secondary, NEET, and GUJCET exam. The merit score was obtained after verifying all my documents and academics. Through these scores, the merit was generated on the based All India Rank and then through this several university options were available across India. My merit scores were pretty good that's why I was competent enough to secure my seat in the Government Quota which was the best part of my life. After that, as I was eligible to secure from Sardar Patel University I visited the premises and completed my further procedure which was confirming my seat and paying the fees.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose to study Biomedical Science in Microbiology at Sardar Patel University. Since childhood. I was amazed at the Biomed subject which astonishes me a lot engaging in deeper knowledge will help me uplift my career and that's why I considered it apt to pursue my field of interest. Therefore, I made up my mind and studied the field of course as it was much fascinating for me. Talking about my faculties, they were so supportive as well as inspirational that they maintained a sense of decorum in the class. Although, the teacher-to-student ratio was 50:1 they cleared all the concepts individually with repetitive sessions along with weekly evaluations which was the best-suited method for students. The college consists of two internal formative assessments designed for the theoretical and practical sessions and one summative assessment which was in the middle of the term. This method of evaluation was excellent and apart from this other assignments and projects were also included.
