  • The Application Form for the Admission Process is accepted through online mode released by University. In certain cases On Campus applications are also accepted.

SSUHS Placement

The placements are pretty good as there is around 80% chance that students will be placed if they participate in Campus Placement.

Average Salary for the UG Course is ranged somewhere between INR 3,00,000 to 4,20,000 per annum. For PG Course, it ranges somewhere between INR 3,60,000 to INR 6,00,000 per annum.

SSUHS Scholarship

Registered as Public/ Government University, Srimanta Sankaradeva University has provided a Scholarship amount to those students who scored good marks in University and a well meritorious student will get the amount of scholarship from the University.

The State Government also assists those students who are financially not able to pay the Fees by various schemes thereon. Generally it is based on the performance of student(s) in the last examination result.

SSUHS Facilities

Srimanta Sankaradeva University has various facilities available to help the needs of the students as well as faculty members and other staff. Some of these are as follows:

  • Library: Srimanta Sankaradeva University has a central library which has a collection of more than 1,20,000 printed books. In addition to that the library also has a subscription of 500 National and International journals for students. The library also provides e-resources like IEEE and J Gate.
  • Canteen: In the wide area of Campus, University also had Canteen Facility for Morning Breakfast, Lunch, Brunch and often for Dine Out. The food here is prepared with utmost care and provided at a concessional rate to the students who hold a Pass. It also has a Cafeteria where students can relax and refresh, and can make funny moments of the college life.
  • Hostel: The campus comprises of Several well-built hostel blocks, for both girls and boys separately. Each hostel has a facility of separate mess, admin office, and a warden quarter. In addition to that it has well furnished rooms, the hostel is complete with facilities viz, hi speed Wi-Fi connection, medical store, first aid kits and other amenities.
  • Labs: There are a total of around 7 to 8 Labs available for various departments, each facilitated with relevant equipment and as per need & requirement of the students.
  • Gymnasium: Campus has also availed the facility of Gymnasium for the use of the Students. The Gymnasium has all the facilities and equipment including Weight Training Dumbbells, Adjustable Bench, Barbell Stand, Cable Crossover, Exercise Ball, Flat Bench Press, Decline Bench Press, Indoor Rower, etc. within the campus.

Ans. Yes, Common Entrance Examination is conducted by the University for the admission into the best Colleges linked with it. Apart from that University also considers NEET and AIPMT Score while preparing the merit list.

Ques. Can the students pursue MDS from SSUHS?

Ans. Yes. Anyone who has passed 10+2 examination with Physics and Biology as compulsory subjects and Chemistry/Biotechnology/ Biology/ Computer as an optional subject from a recognized board of education.
