Post study are either PhD or placement. Placement rate is 97% for my department and the 86% of overall BU. It is very reputed university with good alumni network.

BU has a university-wide career fair, where students can bag a handsome average package of $100,000. A lot of great companies like Amazon, Oracle, Google, and other participates in University fair. Various startups also participate in this career fair. BU arranges so many workshops before any career fair for a student to give an idea of these career fairs. Student can opt for CPT (Curriculum Practical Training) or OPT (Optional Practical Training) after meeting the minimum requirement of 2 Full Semester(1 academic year).

They do offer both internships and on-campus jobs. We have a portal on our student link where all the opportunities are listed and they provide how to apply. A range of pay depending on the job.

I applied to 7 colleges and of those, I was accepted to 5. Waitlisted at one and guaranteed transfer to another. So I went to Ithaca College for a year and then did guarantee transfer to BU. I didn't plan on transferring to BU but I hated Ithaca so much that I couldn't stand to be there for three more years. Transferring to BU was the best decision I made.
