University of California Davis Document Submission and Assessment

  • Students must upload a transcript for each institution they listed in the academic history section of their application.
  • Scanned copies of original paper transcripts, unofficial advising transcripts, or web portal-based transcripts will be accepted by UC Davis.
  • The uploaded PDFs do not need to be "official" electronic transcripts issued by their institutions. However, the uploaded documents must include all of the same information that would appear on an official transcript.
  • Unless the back of the transcript is completely blank (no stamps, signatures, grade or course information, etc.), students must scan the front as well as the back of their transcript.

UC Davis does not accept paper transcripts as a part of the application process. Instead, all applicants must upload PDF versions of their transcripts or academic records directly to the university’s system.

If the transcripts or academic records are in a language other than English, students are required to upload a PDF which includes both the original language documents and English translations.

The English translation must be performed by the college or university which has issued the documents or a transcript evaluation service or a government-certified translator. The college is highly ranked and gives its students tremendous future prospects. It is one of the best universities globally for pursuing Veterinary sciences.

Close to home, a good program for my major, well known, liberal. It is also a beautiful campus that is easy in terms of transportation if you have a bike. The whole campus is built to make biking easy.

Scholarship:

No, I have not received any financial aid or scholarship because I did not qualify for it. I received one at my community college for $500.

The distance from home and the quality of education were enticing, so I opted to go here over my other options, which would either have been further or less quality. I think the economics program is one of the top 20 in the country, so it made my decision easier.

The prestige of the school and location. I liked that it was relatively close to home for me, and my high school pushed for students to go to the most prestigious school they could get into. For me, that was UC Davis.

I chose UC Davis because it is 1.5 hours away from home, has good bachelors programs and I was awarded a full ride scholarship to attend UC Davis. I like how the campus is very scenic, has a welcoming vibe and all are very friendly.

Scholarship:

Yes; I received many scholarships that have helped me attend this school. Some of the scholarships have been awarded to me through UCD while others have been accrued at my local community.
