I was quite sure about the features I wanted in the program I wanted to apply for. The University of Florida piqued my interest because it had excellent research work being conducted in the field I was most interested in. It is of course a prestigious university while still being economic. It has very good connections with NASA as well which provides exceptional work and internship opportunities to students.

Scholarship:

Yes, I received the Herbert Wertheim College of Engineering Achievement Award Scholarship for ONCAMPUS, NON-FLORIDA RESIDENT New Engineering Graduate Students.

It is the best college in my state for the program that I am getting my degree in. I have always wanted to go to UF and decided at a very early age that it would be my first pick school. I also knew there wouldn't be a chance I could go out of state.

Scholarship:

No, I have not received any scholarship opportunities. I have applied for quite a few but have not been chosen, unfortunately.

The distance to home was rather close, and I was still able to use my Bright Futures Scholarship money, as well as gain a local scholarship to the University! In addition, my close friend was planning on attending this college, so it helped finalize my decision.

Financial aid can be tricky depending on your luck. Financial aid doesn't always go through, so you have to stay on top of your account and visit the aid office frequently upon the beginning of the semester to hammer them about your money. Bright Futures was rather simple, especially if you have the Academic Scholars one because you get full tuition and a $300 book stipend. Bright Futures was automatically added to my account. The private, local scholarship had difficulties because UF's system was down and only took account for partial people who received scholarships, but I haven't had any problems since.

My college has an amazing Health Science program, and from here it is possible to move into the University of Florida Medical School without changing towns again! Gainesville is also less metropolitan than most other Florida universities do which was appealing to me.

Scholarship:

I am a recipient of Florida Bright Futures after the initial application was completed I have had to maintain my college GPA. When financial aid is released, my bright futures payment posts in my account with the UF Bursar and I no longer have outstanding charges. Within a few days, any excess aid is directly deposited to the bank account I have linked.

The pharmacy school is one of the best in the country and matches a lot of their students for residency programs. It is also where my mom went to undergrad. The college is also in a great location and I love the town.

They gave the most scholarships and the engineering program was really good. They were ranked in the top ten public universities in the US when I applied, and by being a freshman in 2018, the ranking just increased to the top 8.

I love nutrition and how it impacts every aspect of health. I myself am student-athlete and as such have personal experience in nutrition impacting life, or in my case, athletic performance. Further nutritional sciences have a science emphasis which appeals to me.

Yes I have an academic scholarship distributed by the university, Bright Futures as a Florida resident, and financial aid. I earned Bright Futures as well as my UF scholarship based on high school standards that I have maintained throughout college.

I wanted to stay somewhat close to home while also saving the most money. The Florida Bright Futures scholarship is a big help and persuades many to stay within Florida for school. I also had a lot of friends going to UF.

Scholarship:

Yes, I had two one time scholarships and after that, I also had the Florida Bright Futures Academic scholarship. I require no federal financial aid.

I chose this school because it was close to home, affordable with state scholarships and grants, and it is a great school. It also had a very old time feel to it that I really loved when I went to go tour it.

Scholarship:

I had to apply for federal government aid through the FAFSA and was able to get grants based on my parents? income. I also got state grants and scholarships because of my ACT scores.
