Actually here I like Monash because environment is too friendly even now we have access to our heads like dean and whereas concerned the facilities Monash give a lot of facilities even now we have you can see the COVID 19 situation they are providing the online resources like Monash library even we have remote access to our labs like because I want to work on my abacus software so they give us remote access even it is a hard time COVID 19 did not affect our research because they are giving us a lot of facilities. If I am in hurry so I have to do all the work experimental work even so they give a priority to me and I have to conduct all the experiments.
Exams :
I am from civil so they need the civil engineering master's whereas for IELTS is concerned so they say according to the Monash prospectus we have 6.5 overall bands.
Placement :
Yes actually, I was a lecturer at the national university of science and technologies Islamabad, Pakistan maybe you know even though I got a lot of internships in my bachelor's degree since I was in the second year of my bachelor's degree I had worked with many international organizations such as maybe you know that the arcade associates and meg consultants even now I have MoU with one of the Australian consultants her owner is Dr Dubey he is also my supervisor I am working with him.
Scholarship :
6.5 because I got the faculty scholarship they gave a lot of what we say documents like publications and SOP and other things like SOPs just like I have to just give a proposal for them because as I already mentioned I have faculty joint PhD. My half PhD will be in Monash Malaysia and half will be in Monash Australia. I got a faculty joint PhD scholarship so basically, they just give an advertisement and I just applied formally.
Faculty :
Yes, actually I just forgot to mention if we are doing Ph.D. in Monash you have to spend your 10 hours with a faculty like you will teach the any subject because we have our masters so we help the lecturers whereas the lecturers and student ratio it depends upon the department like our structure department 1 to 7 ratio if you are talking about the whole civil engineering department is 1 to 10 ratio whereas as I already mentioned we have access to HODs and deans even if we have any problem we can just email to our dean he will help us even the supervisor and the other teachers are very sincere to us and very social to us they email us so please help in this procedure like this one they are very helpful.
Campus Life :
Actually I have no experience because I came here in Malaysia one day before lockdown. So due to that we don't have what we say the co curricular activities but they gave us online curricular activity.
Hostel :
Regarding my accomodation now I am in what you say off campus accomodation because as I already mentioned I came Malaysia before 1 day of lockdown so I didnt get accomodation because lot of people applied for it but whereas the expenditure is concerned on campus is too much what we say that the expensive compared to the off campus we can say that the 50% but the facilities on the on campus is very good just like we have Wi-Fi facility, gym facility even library facility and many others but off campus we don't have many facilities. here in the what we say we can say that if we have one thousand RAM which is equal to 400 USD we can survive per month But what we say that the year fees is very high because it is 50,000 but it depends upon my qualities if I have a lot of publications good research experience so they give us a partially fully and sometimes they are giving us the what we say scholarship They give us 500 for publishing our work its like they are giving the appreciation token.
