my learning experience in Monash University.

BV
6.3 /10

Because Monash was a reputed name globally and I felt that Information Technology was a field where Monash excelled seeing all the research development under it. Being a part of the Group of Eight universities in Australia, it had a very high reputation and was focused on research and therefore, I was convinced that the education I receive from Monash will be coming from an array of experienced staff.

Course Curriculum :

I've just begun the course and so far it's good. I feel the course material is up to date and is in line with the current trajectory of the IT world.

Exams :

For the application, I had to submit my CV. In my CV, I had mentioned my education qualifications, experience, and other projects that I worked on. Apart from this, I had to submit my degree certificates, individual mark sheets, and 10th and 12th certificates. No, I did not have any.

Placement :

It is generally good. However, I do hear that for international students the opportunities could be lesser than for the Australian students. But this could be a general issue with Australian education.

Internship :

No, I haven't.

Fees :

42,800 AUD

Scholarship :

No, I did not receive any scholarship.

Faculty :

Since we are currently studying online, I can't say an exact amount. Our lab sessions usually have 10 students with one teacher. The staff and faculty are very helpful apart from a few assistant professors who are a little inexperienced. Andy Cheng and Lindsay Smith are 2 great professors. Their way of teaching is incredible and they make it stick in our minds.

Hostel :

No. I have not been able to move to Australia due to the border restrictions.
