Advanced Diploma (Chemical Engineering Technology - Lab and Process Control)
Field of Study:
Cambrian's Chemical Engineering Technology program is the only one of its kind in Ontario and is designed to develop the skill sets students will need to work in any of these exciting fields. It couples fundamental theory with the necessary hands-on, practical laboratory training required for employment in various chemical industries and environmental sectors. Students will work independently and in groups to build the self-directed study and teamwork skills they will need within various workplace settings.

Eligibility & Entry Requirement
Academic Eligibility:
- Students who want to get admission to this college must be 75% or above in the academic average.
- Students must qualify to obtain their OSSD (Ontario Secondary School Diploma).
- Ontario High School applicants require the following Grade 30 credits (an overall average of 70% is required):
- Any grade 12 English (C) or (U)
- Any grade 11 mathematics (C), (U), or (M)
- Applicants are required to submit a portfolio, in hardcopy or digital format, for review.
- The portfolio should contain five creative and artistic works that showcase the applicant's breadth of creative and technical abilities.
Others:
- Students must be 19 years or older before the beginning of classes.
- Students who are graduated from Ontario Secondary Schools and who have obtained their diploma (OSSD) or certificate (OSSC) may be considered for admission on an individual basis for some programs delivered at the College.
Indian Student Eligibility:
- The students must have completed 10th and intermediate i.e 12th grade which has the minimum with 70% marks.
- The minimum qualification required to attend this program is a higher secondary school certificate.
Along with the minimum eligibility requirements, international students hailing from non-English speaking countries need to prove English proficiency through IELTS/TOEFL/any equivalent test.

VISA
- All non-Canadian potential students must apply for a Student VISA to study in Canada.
- Students cannot study in Canada without this visa.
- This is issued by the Canadian Embassy, Consulate, or High Commission office closest to the place of residence.

Work Study
- Cambrian's on-campus Work-Study program provides full-time, post-secondary students with an opportunity to work part-time on campus while attending class.
