University of Ottawa- faculty of medicine (translational and molecular medicine)

HV
9.5 /10

Used to have a renewable scholarship. It's in the city I live in, so no additional cost for me to relocate, neither do I have to pay rent. It's known for its science programs, and I'm interested in science, so seemed like a good fit.

Course Curriculum :

In my opinion, the course curriculum is rather enriched. It is very integrated. It allows you to apply your in class knowledge into hands on skills. Provides cutting-edge research experience in a field of your choice.

Fees :

3000-4000$ per term, so a total of 6000-8000 for a school year. This does not include fees for summer classes. Additionally, you can get scholarship (I speak of medicine and sciences) based on your GPA. Sports fees (mandatory, can't opt-out); health fees, student's federation fees (mandatory, can't opt-out) and insurance (health and dental, can opt-out).

Examination Structure :

The structure of the exam is highly dependent on the class you take. Some classes don't have exams, others do. They can be in the form of an end of term report or research paper to a multiple-choice final, or Fill in the blanks, match the following, etcetera

Faculty :

The faculty (of medicine)is excellent, from administration all the way to professors. They all really care about your success and want to support you along the way. Additionally, it provides many services that help students de-stress. Very quite (and confortable) library to study in.
