Humber college offered the best course plan amongst all colleges in Canada in the post-production program. The classes are more practical than theory, which is what i needed as a post-graduate student.

Course Curriculum :

The course curriculum offers more practical knowledge and hands on experience. The classes are distributed farely accross the week giving the students enough time to catch up with the assignments and prepare for the exams.

Exams :

I took the IELTS exam before applying for the programs. I am an undergraduate in Media and Communication with a CGPA of 3.8

Internship :

Yes. I am going to be applying for an internship end of this semester. The placement advisor is very helpful. We also have a class dedicated specifically to help us find an internship. The class focuses on how to prepare for an interview as well as how to present yourself.

Fees :

The fee structure was fare and well distributed accross the semesters. Additional charges included cost of purchasing headphones and hard drives for the classs, health insurance and other student benefits.

Examination Structure :

The first semester had midterms as well as final exams for most of the classes as the first semester was slightly more theory oriented. However, the second semester comprises of mostly practical assignments and practical exams.

Faculty :

The profrssors and skilled and experienced straight out of the industry which helps us understand exactly what to expect after graduation. They focus on all students equally and are always ready to go above and beyond to help us out.

Hostel :

I picked the college residence as my priority as an international student was to stay close to campus. Being in a post-production program, i needed to be able to access the labs beyond college hours and being on campus seemed like the best option for it.
