Study during pandemic - Georgian College

8.5 /10

I gathered information about my college through the Collège website as well as through other students who are already enrolled. I also searched through online platforms such as quora and collegedunia.

Course Curriculum :

The curriculum is a bit different here. There are more assignments and tasks every week. My program is more practical and my theory is less. There are a lot of assignments and projects. Most students here are from India.

Exams :

About the application process, I had to submit my IELTS score to get admission. Other than that, I had to submit my college credentials. My IELTS score was around 7.5. The college didn't ask me to submit any SoPs or LoRs.

Placement :

In my the department if we have experience, then we will get the jobs very easily within one year.

Internship :

No, I didn't have applied for any internships yet.

Faculty :

The current student-teacher ratio is 40:1. The teachers are all very great and they know a lot about the subject. The online also, try their best to reply to all our queries and a nice explanation. They gave us their email id to clear our doubts and they reply as soon as possible.

Campus Life :

Currently, there is a pandemic, so I didn't have experienced any campus life and infrastructure yet. But whatever information I have is that there is a gymnasium, a very good library for us. There are a lot of clubs here like sports etc.

Hostel :

Earlier I was staying in the south of Dublin but now I am in the main city that is north of Dublin to have more opportunities. I am living here in an apartment in a proper society. where I have to pay $600 for a single room per month and there are other charges on top of it like electricity, WIFI, etc.
