In Sheridan College, my study experience.

JS
7.0 /10

I choose this college because it is in Brampton and it is the closest to where I planned to live. The courses are easy and the diploma is easy to pass. The classes can be adjusted to 2 days a week and a 3-year work permit is also given after completing the diploma.

Course Curriculum :

Academics are very easy. The course curriculum is updated and the course syllabus is set at the beginning of every semester and the teachers are flexible enough to change them in between. There is no industrial exposure or research experience. The courses are relatively easier to pass.

Exams :

For the application process, an IELTS score and 10th, 12th mark sheet was required. No need to submit any sop, LOR, or cv for diploma programs.

Placement :

The placement opportunities are not so good. Diploma students do not get placed or given any kind of job experience. Nobody from the 2020 batch is doing a job related to their field.

Events :

The campus infrastructure is nice with a lot of facilities like the library, gym, sports center. There are no research facilities available at the college. Extracurricular activities include taking part in sports events and art events happening at college.

Fees :

35000 CAD

Scholarship :

No scholarship received

Faculty :

The faculty is very nice and helpful. The faculty to student ratio is 1:40. The faculty do not have much knowledge and just go through the basic topics of the subject. The faculty mostly is better for the degree program students.

Hostel :

No, I live off-campus at my relative's house to save the rent. Other accommodations can be taken too like the on-campus or sharing basements in Brampton or apartments in Toronto. The rent will vary from $450-$1000.
