Dr. Somervell Memorial CSI Medical College and Hospital offers the MBBS course at the undergraduate level which is of the five-year duration.

For MBBS, candidates who have completed their 10+2 examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology / Biotechnology and English as compulsory subjects. Applicants are also required to have obtained minimum 50% marks (45% for reserved categories) in aggregate in the 10+2 board examination.

Admission to the MBBS course will be done based on the applicants’ performance in the NEET (UG) entrance examination. Allotment of seats will be done by the NEET counselling process.

• Candidates must be of minimum 17 years of age to apply.

Dr. Somervell Memorial CSI Medical College and Hospital offers the MD and MS courses at the postgraduate level. The MD course is offered under 6 specializations and the MS course is offered under 5 specializations.

For PG courses, applicants are required to be holders of an MBBS degree from a recognized institute and are also required to have completed one-year of rotating internship to be considered eligible. Apart from these criteria, candidates are also required to have registered with the Medical Council of India (MCI) / State Medical Council (SMC) to be considered as eligible.

Admission to the MD and MS courses is done based on the applicants’ performance in the NEET (PG) entrance examination, which is conducted at the national level. Allotment of seats to the MD and MS courses will be done through the NEET counselling process, which will be based on performance in the NEET (PG) examination.
