What students say about Acharya Institute of Technology - [AIT]

Likes

  • Our college is affiliated with VTU Belgavi, and the course allocation will be done by the board. However, in our college, the management goes above and beyond by providing SPT Classes beyond the provided syllabus. Additionally, the management conducts tests every week.
  • My college placement was awesome; more than 20 companies came specifically for the internship and placement program.
  • Placements among the eligible students are very good. Teachers are keen on the number of placements and therefore make plans for students and prepare from the 1st year itself for their placements.
  • The loan is approved and scholarships are also given. Every type of facility is provided for the best.
  • There is one ground, you can say its one of the best to play cricket, and there are table tennis, carrom, gym, and all you can get.
  • I stay in my home, but when talking about the hostel, they provide good facilities and the maintenance is awesome.
  • I had applied for the government colleges, out of which I got Acharya. I chose this college because it is one of the best colleges in Bangalore, which is cost-effective and provides studies with strict discipline.

Dislike

  • The college did not provide any internships to the students, and there were fewer internships available during that time. Therefore, I do not have an accurate picture to share about it.
  • When it comes to the placement part, it was literally the worst. Some marketing placements were offered to students, but there were no placements in HR and finance. Literally, no students were placed.
  • No, I have not seen or heard about any such scholarship programs or any other loan facilities.
  • It was expensive, but it was quite nice. Even though the only downside is the food, which is terrible - and I mean literally - for such a high price, its not worth it

Remarks:

Acharya Institute of Technology, Bangelur, India had a good MBA admission process. The application process starts in the last week of January and ends in the first week of February. Admission is based on a strong performance on the MBA Entrance like CAT, MAT, CMAT etc. I took CMAT as my Entrance exam. I took it in the middle of June. I took it during the regular semester and also on vacation, My score was good. In the interview, I was asked basic management and logical questions.
