    Remarks :

    Kongu engineering college is one of best college for better future. The bad thing is, simply saying it's not college it's a school.

    Admission :

    Interested in food processing. Also I would like to learn things which should be useful to our lifestyle.In future getting a hygienic is is going to be a big challenge. So I would like learn about the proceeding methods. So that at least I can help my surroundings from unhygienic practices.

    "Good atmosphere, facilities but lacks exposure"

    Placement Experience :

    It depends on your mental ability, proficiency, technical knowledge, and hard work 1)Students who have knowledge of Data Structures, some computer Science concept places in good product Based companies with above 6lpa. 2)Students with good aptitude skills place in service-based companies 3 to 4lpa (Most students here) 3)Students with core subject knowledge place in manufacturing companies around 2lpa to 4 LPA Also some recruit for managerial roles

    Ques. Which college is better, Kongu or MEPCO?

    Ans. One of my friends studied at Kongu Engineering College. According to him, it will be a better choice than MEPCO.  In MEPCO there are times when students have to abide by certain petty rules and regulations, like using mobiles, being unable to attend symposiums, etc. In Kongu, you have the freedom to learn new things. You can learn about both software, the ones in your curriculum and not.  All the professors are knowledgeable and highly experienced. They are extremely cooperative as well. You will socialize with lots of people through clubs, Entrepreneurship cells, organizing committees, etc.  You learn leadership, working with a team, organizing, conducting a function, etc. These things are not offered in MEPCO.  In Kongu you can improve your communication and language skills.  Kongu, unlike other colleges, keeps you updated every day. Even some of the top recruiting companies take part in their placement program, recruiting many students.  Therefore, if you want to build yourself up as an individual and also excel in your career opt for Kongu Engineering College.Read more

    Ques. Can you rate Kongu Engineering College with Sri Krishna College of Technology Kovaipudur?

    Ans. Both the colleges are equally good. Though it can be compared on the basis of the following factors: Location: Kongu College is in Erode and Krishna College is in Coimbatore. So, location matters a lot while choosing a college. In this case, the former is better. Strength:  Krishna College has low student strength and fewer departments compared to Kongu College. During placement, you get fewer competitors. Staff: Kongu College has better and experienced staff members than Krishna college. The staff of Krishna college though freshers are known to be very cooperative. Lab Facilities: Kongu College offers better lab facilities compared to Krishna College.  College Fee: Krishna College is a bit costlier than Kongu. Krishna College doesn't have any scholarship scheme for toppers, unlike Kongu. Hostel: In Krishna, you have to pay nearly 85,000 for a hostel. But In Kongu it is 55,000 to 60,000. But when quality and facilities are considered Krishna definitely wins. Krishna is known for having good placements compared to Kongu. Also, the overall environment at Kongu College is very strict, whereas Krishna College shows leniency towards their students.Read more

Here are the placement highlights for 2020.     Ans. A few of my friends recently graduated from Kongu Engineering College (KEC). Here is what they have to say about the institute. Advantages: Kongu Engineering College (KEC) is known to be one of the best self-supporting colleges in Tamil Nadu and India. Excellent environment for Study, KEC has been awarded for Green Campus by AICTE. Experienced and Interactive Faculties Students are encouraged to pursue their own interests.  There are many co-curricular-oriented activities, in which you can participate.  Choice-based credit system - You can choose your subjects across any branch of Engineering. The infrastructure of the institute is quite good. There are well-equipped labs, a huge auditorium.  Good Placement Opportunities. In the 2020 placement drive, a total of 220 recruiting companies visited the campus and the median CTC offered was around 3 LPA.  You will receive good support for sports and extracurricular activities. Disadvantages: Kongu Engineering College (KEC) is located in a Rural area. It is a Self-supporting college. Moderate Hostel Facility. During your first year, you will feel like you are still in your school. Girls have to assemble before 6 o'clock and they are not allowed to go out of hostels during weekends.     Ans. Kongu Engineering College is very strict regarding dress code. I have a few friends who graduated from the institute and here is what they told me about the dress code.  At KEC dress code for boys is formal shirts and pants that you have to tug in neatly. Also, you should not fold your full-sleeve shirt. Formal shoes in either black or brown are a must. For girls, the dress code is Salwar Kameez. You can also wear sarees on special occasions like department functions. No modern dresses are allowed on the campus. ID Card and uniform are a must and both are provided by the management. Read more
