Eligibility Criteria

Pass in 12th Class of 10+2 pattern with a minimum aggregate of 55% marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics Candidate must additionally have passed English as a subject of study (core/ elective/ functional) in the qualifying examination.

At the undergraduate level, the college offers a full-time degree course in B.Tech. and BBA.

B.Tech. is offered under eight different specializations for a duration of 4 years. BBA is offered for a period of 3 years.

Under the discipline of B.Tech. the institute also offers Lateral Entry for Diploma Holders.

Selection Criteria

Admission to all the above-mentioned courses will be done on the basis of the CET. Applicants must appear in the same.
The admissions would be based on the merit/rank in the CET followed by a round of online counseling.
Candidates with Diploma in Architecture are not eligible for Lateral Entry.

Exam Pattern

B.Tech.

IPU CET for B.Tech tests candidate’s aptitude based on Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics.
150 objective questions are asked and sectional weightage of 33.33% is given to each section.

BBA

The paper is divided into four sections.
Questions are asked from English, General Awareness, Logical Reasoning and Management Aptitude.
IPU CET for BBA comprises of 150 objective type questions.
Duration: 2 hours 30 minutes.

Counseling

After the declaration of results, candidates are shortlisted for IPU CET Counselling.
A merit list is prepared on the basis of scores obtained by candidates in the IPU CET Exam.

I have taken admission in course of B.Tech having branch information technology (IT). There is a good faculty here who have done Ph.D. in their respective fields and they have good teaching experience. The term exams are almost about 4-5 months.

I chose this course because that's the best one got. The faculty is good. The student ratio is also good, 1:5. The faculty is highly qualified and have good teaching method. Term exams were on time and it wasn't that easy to pass.

The course curriculum is good. I chose this course due to my interest in computers, and technology. The qualifications of teacher range from nonexperienced to experienced. Many have done Ph.D. in their fields. The exams are conducted 2 times in 1 semester they are called sessional and class tests. They are of moderate level and college internal marks depend on them.

ADGITM, IPU affiliated college review

In Indian engineering colleges, CS/IT branch is preferred because It has a maximum placement rate with decent packages when compared to other branches. Hence, I chose it too. Some faculty are friendly and don't bother much with our attendance. Few faculties follow every direction that HOD says and thus they sometimes are rude. But overall faculty is decent. Teaching is also decent for many faculties. Passing the exams is not so much difficult. If you study a day before, you can pass but if you want to score well enough, 2 weeks before the exams might be good enough. Exams are held regularly by the University in every college at the same time.
