Swami Parmanand Engineering College (SPEC) was established in the year 2004 and is located in Mohali, Punjab. The college offers full-time B.Tech course in four disciplines. Each branch of B.Tech has an intake of 60 seats except Mechanical Engineering which has a total of 120 seats to be filled. Admission to the program is done on the basis of merit.

Swami Parmanand Engineering College offers admission to first year of full-time B.Tech course on the basis of marks scored in 10+2 or equivalent examination along with their JEE Main scores. Candidates who have passed 10+2 or equivalent qualifying examination with minimum 45% marks (40 % in the case of SC/ ST/ OBC candidates)

  • JEE Main is a national level entrance test conducted by CBSE through offline as well as online mode.

Swami Parmanand Engineering College B.Tech Lateral Entry Admission 2023

Candidates are shortlisted to B.Tech Lateral Entry program on the basis of marks scored in LEET conducted by Haryana State Technical Education Society (HSTES). Candidates must either possess a B.Sc Degree in any discipline with at least 45% marks or a Diploma in any discipline with minimum 40% marks to get admission in the B.Tech Lateral Entry.

  • Candidates who qualify the online entrance test are called for first and second rounds of counselling.
  • Students are offered admission to B.Tech Lateral Entry course against 25% seats of Government/ Gov. Aided University and 75% seats of Self-Financed Institutes
