Eligibility criteria

For the regular batch, the candidate must have passed the 10+2 examination with 45% aggregate marks in Physics, Mathematics, and Chemistry/Computer Science/Biotechnology/Biology and must have passed the KEAM.
For lateral entry, 10% of seats are additionally sanctioned to provide direct admission to 2nd year of b-tech. Candidates must have passed the diploma course in Engineering/Technology from any institute with a duration of 3 years to get admission to this program.

Selection Criteria

The selections to the B.Tech programs are based on KEAM entrance exams.
Government quota: 50% of the seats are filled up by the entrance commissioner from the entrance rank list prepared by CEE keeping up in mind the merit and reservation policies of the government.
Management quota: 35% of the seats are filled through management quota based on the marks in the qualifying examination and entrance examination.
NRI: 15% of the seats are filled through this based on the eligibility criteria and the merit list made by the college based on the academic course. Candidates belonging to this quota are exempted from appearing in KEAM.

Merit BAsed Scholarships: Concession in fee is provided to the bright students based on the Thejus merit list. Based on the marks, Students under management, government, and NRI quota are given fee deduction in different disciplines.
Pragati scholarship scheme: Under the AICTE, the scholarship is given to 40,000 to 10,000 girl students studying for a degree/diploma from AICTE approved institute.

Girls taking admission in the lateral entry are also eligible for scholarships.

Saksham scholarship scheme: Under the AICTE, the scholarship is given to boys studying first-year degree/diploma or second year through lateral entry from any AICTE recognized university.
