- I chose to do this course because it is the best course for the computer department. The college offers the best opportunities in the computer field for their students.

- The training and placement cell of our college has made an excellent record till date, and there is no doubt that it will be improving day by day.
- As it is situated in Sangli, a good city where everything is available, Walchand becomes the best option for engineering.
- Campus life is awesome and filled with greenery. The gender ratio is well balanced with great diversity; students from all over India are on campus. Recently, a foreign seat has also been made available.
- The hostel infrastructure is not as good as it should be considering the college was established in 1947. However, the college makes an effort to provide better facilities as much as possible.
- Walchand College of Engineering has the best education faculty and offers the best placements with a good campus area.
Dislike
- The scholarship system is very bad. Students have to go through a lengthy procedure when filing the scholarship forms, and many errors arise during the process, causing further delays.
- Hostel environment is not good in this college. Because of some rowdy boys, hostel life has become scary. Rooms are also not clean and food is not very hygienic. We all are from South India

Course Curriculum Overview:
The curriculum is up to date and the teachers not only focus on academic things but also on extracurricular activities. Teachers and faculty members try to keep us up to date with the rising technologies. The exams are also done on time and the checking here has been really tight.
Remarks:
Students who have completed their 12th or 10+2 are eligible to take admission into this course. The course cutoff in 2020 was 1400 rank in the MHTCET exam. MHTCET is an exam that is responsible for the admission of students into Maharashtra-wide colleges.
Course Curriculum Overview:
This was a professional technical course that offers a technical degree. There are 4-5 teachers for a class of 50-55 students. All teachers are well qualified and are excellent in their respective fields. Exams are conducted on time

Eligibility for the course is class 12th with physics chemistry maths as a subjects in class 12th The application form is available in college as well as one can apply online. I don't have availed reservation although there is a reservation for backward
Course Curriculum Overview:
I chose this course due to my future career in the field of information technology. Each department has sufficient staff to students ratio .this ratio is nearly 1 staff per 30 students. most of the faculty is well qualified from well-known institutions. Term exams are after six months.

After cet cell Maharashtra declared cet result then they open the application form for all students who are eligible. Many students got admission through the reservation system According to rules by the Maharashtra government. The admission process is quite smooth.
Placement Experience:
From the seventh semester, you can able to attend placement drives. some companies like Amazon and Morgan Stanley also visit our college for the recruitment drive. here almost all tech branch-related students get placed in good companies within the average package of 11 lakh. if you are already got selected for any company then you can only sit when a 17% hike.
Remarks:
My admission was completed in mid-December of 2021. It was a fantastic experience for me. I cleared mhtcet entrance exam. The cut-off of my course was 98.3 percentile. All details regarding admission were published on the website of wce and sir also told me when I came here for the admission process.
Placement Experience:
College placements are very nice. In fact, the TPO is quite supportive. Many MNCs visit the campus during the placement season. The highest package is 51 lakh and the average is 12 lakh (varied from branch to branch ).
Remarks:
I gave. MHTCET entrance exam through this I just applied on the CET portal and then I followed all the processes like CAP round and all and after getting admission I physically reported to the institute. Reservation helped me during the process.
Course Curriculum Overview:
I have opted for information technology because I was not able to clear the cutoff for CSE. The student-faculty ratio in our college is about 20:1 and we have a list of qualified professors. We have a feedback form that is considered for any changes in the course.
Remarks:
The admission was via MHT CET exam. The application process for that exam was via CET cell. After the display of the Mark list, we were asked to select the desired college list and after some time we were given the cutoff and branch.
