Remarks :

After cet cell Maharashtra declared cet result then they open the application form for all students who are eligible. Many students got admission through the reservation system According to rules by the Maharashtra government. The admission process is quite smooth.

Course Curriculum Overview :

I chose this course due to my future career in the field of information technology. Each department has sufficient staff to students ratio .this ratio is nearly 1 staff per 30 students. most of the faculty is well qualified from well-known institutions. Term exams are after six months.

Class Size : 70Course Fees : INR 85000 per year

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

85000 Is the fee for open category students 44000 for obc students 5000 for sc and st students. There is a lot of scholarship are present like Cummins, Siemens,ebc scholarships for open students by the government of Maharashtra. placement is my college is good.

Campus Life :

I am working as an assistant board member in the Codechef WCE chapter .club activities are quite good. Our college library is one of the biggest libraries in Asia. Sports activities are quite decent. Softa, Rotaract, pace are the other clubs in the college.

Hostel Facilities :

Hostel are too old but quite maintenable . High wifi speed available . 24 hour qter supply is also present . In hostel area small ground is present where you can play any game .hostel rules are flexible.mess menu is also acceptable .

Study, Enjoyment, Achivement: Successful College Life

Course Curriculum Overview:

The professor is highly knowledgeable they are very supportive if we find any difficulty from any problem then they help a lot with it. Exams are in every month and final semester exams are there If we study hard then exams are not tough. Negative point is that sometimes faculty say anything bad so it gets irritated.

Shivaji University: A decent place to study and evolve!

Good Infrastructure & Quality Education But Dissatisfied Placement 2023 Batch

Placement Experience:

From semester 7th only all students are eligible for the campus. In terms of placement this year 2023, due to the recession very few companies visited our college including KPIT, Capgemini, TCS, and Tech Mahindra. The count taken by these companies was also too low around 25-30 students per company only TCS has 80+ students. If I talk about the overall placement count this year only 150 students means 1/4th of the overall college was only placed for an average package of 4.5LPA System Engineer or GET role and most students are from Computer Science only. So overall placement rate is not good this year. The recession has impacted a lot on placement rates this year. I also got placed in TCS but I expect more other companies should visit our campus as last year many companies visited our college and every student has 2+ offer letters in hand.
