What students say about JNTUH College of Engineering

Likes

  • We had very good labs where we could actually have a hands-on experience on most of the topics we had.
  • We have very good internships in our college. That is the reason it is the number one college.
  • The placement count is very good, and the companies that visit the campus are very good. They offer a significant number of jobs to our seniors and provide an excellent package. The percentage of students getting placed is around 80-90.
  • For our batch, the fee structure is quite good and affordable for middle-class students as well.
  • According to me, I would say it was very, very best to attend all the fests that are conducted in our college.
  • There are no single rooms, and we need to share the rooms with at least one person, depending on the year you are studying.
  • This is the best college for students who have an interest in learning, and we can also learn more than they think through this college.

Dislike

  • For graduate-level students, there are no internships or stipends provided in the college. However, scholarships are provided for some poor and economically backward individuals.
  • Placement is also low in the college. They dont bring companies to the college; we ourselves have to search for off-campus placements elsewhere.
  • The fee is to be paid on or before the due date, otherwise the seat will be cancelled.
  • Hostel rooms are limited, so the rest of the students have to live outside in PGs. I am not familiar with their accommodations.
  • We have fewer placements, and they are also far from the students needs. We have to go far for everything we want, and it gets very tiring for us.

Placement Experience:

Placements are started from 3-2 sem for regular students, and for IDP it is 5-1 sem..in our college TCS, Microsoft, IBM Wipro Google and so on companies visit for placements it is approximately 30 to 40 companies. For the last academic year, the highest package is 46.5 LPA for ECE IDP students and the average package is 8+ lpa. For last year 55% of secured placement as per the principal voice in the auditorium hall.

Remarks:

To get admission to jntu we have to write Ts eamcet for inter-based students and the diploma student secret is there. After getting a good rank of less than 10000, by facing allotment we will get admission. If we discuss the fee structure right 50000 thousand for regular B.Tech for B.Tech +MTech students it is 1 lakh..at the time admission reservation also considered for sc, st, and handicapped students have to be considered. I think there is no need for any improvement in the admission process

I choosen the EEE course because of my interests. And EEE faculty was very and well experienced. And qualification of the Faculty is above PhD level. The faculty was very friendly with students and the teaching was very good

Remarks:

The admission process is simple and clear. There is an entrance exam (EMCET/ECET) we should write after completion of inter/Diploma. Based on marks We get a college allocation For This college, the rank should be below 1000.

Placement Experience:

The placements in our college were good but have to increase it is somewhat low when compared to other colleges and have to improve the skills by students. The students can participate in campus placement interviews from the third year of their B tech. The average package of our college is 12 lakhs but one student can place in 3 to 4 companies based on their skills. An average of 50 companies will visit our college. TCS, IBM, Infosys, Hexaware, etc,...The faculty of placement and training officer helps the students to develop their soft skills. The highest package offered is 12 packages per annum. The students have to improve their skills in various skills to get placed in various companies and to get good packages. My plan after getting my degree is to crack the gate and to get a seat at IIT and become the best engineer with a good package and a have to do more hard work to crack the gate. Now, my knowledge is not enough to crack get I have to improve my subject and communication skills.

Remarks:

Admission to JNTUH jagitial college is taken through the TS EAMCET Entrance Examination. Admission to the college is for the students who get qualified in TS EAMCET Exam with a decent rank. The TS EAMCET exam is a state-wide exam conducted by the Telangana state government engineering education stream. The average rank to get a seat is 15000 for a popular Branch in engineering. In a particular branch, 66 seats can be filled by the students. The students who qualified for the TS EAMCET entrance exam can eligible to get a seat in the college. Students willing to appear for the engineering stream exam have to pay 500, while SC/ST candidates have to pay 250/-.The students must ensure that they fill out the application form and take a print of the payment copy and students have to fill in their personal details and certain documents. The students must have to pass 10+2 with 45%. Must study subjects like maths, physics, and chemistry can eligible. There is a reservation for the lower background students.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Likes The course material is current, and it prepares students for on-campus placements as well as for work in other sectors of the economy. The faculty members here are excellent in both academic and non-academic teaching capacities. They are highly qualified. Dislikes They don't teach properly, so if students are independent learners who don't rely on their teachers, this college is excellent for them. Some of the instructors at our college aren't even knowledgeable in their fields, and some of the instruction they provide isn't very good.

Remarks:

Courses at the undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral levels are available at Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Hyderabad (JNTUH). It provides a variety of well-liked courses in a variety of fields, including BTech, BPharma, MTech, MPharm, MCA, MBA, PharmD, and PhD. TS EAMCET, GATE, and other national entrance exams are used to determine admittance. The students chosen based on their performance on the entrance exam are invited for counselling. The Telangana state is home to around 423 associated colleges with JNTUH. For job placements, prestigious businesses like TCS, Oracle, Wipro, Accenture, and MRF visit the JNTUH campus.
