Any degree of the University of Calicut (including degree Programmes of the SDE/Open Degree program of SDE, University of Calicut) or that of any other University Institute or Institution recognized by the UGC or AICTE. Programs of other Universities or Institutions shall be in a 10+2+3 pattern (or 10+2+4) under regular stream. In all cases, the student should have passed the Bachelor's Degree examination with not less than 50% marks or equivalent grade in aggregate, including the marks of the languages, if any. OBC and SC/ST students are allowed relaxation in marks as per rules (i.e.; 5% relaxation for OBC & Other Eligible Communities and a mere pass for SC/ST).
The students should also qualify in either CMAT/KMAT/CAT. The minimum qualifying cut ott marks are 10% for General Category, 10 % for SEBC, and 7.5% for SC/ST.
The admission procedure as per ASC directives is 80:10:10, Entrance test, Group Discussion, and Interview respectively.
Applicant must obtain a valid score in any one of the following management aptitude tests:
a) KMAT conducted by CEE, Govt. of Kerala, 2023 only
b) CMAT of AICTE, 2023 only
c) IIM-CAT, December 2022 only.
Candidates awaiting their final semester degree results can also apply. However, candidates should submit their Original Qualifying Certificates and Final Mark List/Consolidated Grade Card to prove their eligibility before the closing date of admission fixed by the university.
II. Selection: Selection will be based on the combined score obtained in the CMAT 2023/KMAT 2023/CAT- Dec 2022 and Group Discussion and Personal Interview giving the following weightage: Entrance test score: 80% Group discussion: 10% Personal Interview: 10% Total: 100%
