After the 1st year, students are enrolled in internships, After internships get over, students can start enrolling for the placements once the placement week begin. All the top companies that you can name like Google, HSBC, Flipkart, Puma, etc, visit the campus for final as well as internship selections. The average package for 22-23 is 17.5 lakhs. And college provides a 100% placements guarantee to all students. Companies from all sectors visit the campus with all sorts of role for the students to select from.
For admission in the MBA college, I gave CAT and other exams also. But, I got admission in IMT from CAT. After CAT, GD-PI sessions were conducted to check the different attributes of a particular student. For CAT or any other MBA entrance exam, you should be atleast in your final year of bachelor's. Experienced people can also apply for these MBA entrance tests. Several reservation benefits are available in all these entrance tests. The admission process requires no changes as it gets varied upon college to college.
After Term-5 students are eligible for sitting for Placement Process. For Summer Internships- 125+companies come For Final Placements- 75 PPOs were made and 30 fortune 500 companies visited the campus for recruitment. 100% Placements Enter into the corporate sector and do well there and if any startup, then there is Incubation Center at IMT which provides assistance for the same.
Minimum three years Bachelor’ degree or equivalent in any discipline with minimum 50% marks in aggregate*CAT (2022)/ XAT (2023)/ GMAT (January 1, 2019 – February 28, 2023) for IMT Ghaziabad One can find all the details on https://www.imt.edu/admissions/pgdm/ Honestly, the admission process at IMT is very smooth. Just sometimes, the office doesn't pick up calls but that is due to extreme rush. But one can always mail and get prompt replies.
The 1st year students are eligible for summer placements from 2nd month of 1st term. And for final order starts in the 5th term. More than 200 companies visit the campus for placements. The average placement is 18 lakhs, and the highest is above 60 lakhs, according to my knowledge. 100% of students get placed.
The admission process was smooth and entirely on the IMT admission portal. Right from form filling up to the joining date. The entrance exam considered for admission is CAT, XAT and GMAT. These examinations will enable you to apply for admission at IMT Ghaziabad and its partner colleges, IMT Nagpur, IMT Hyderabad and IMT Dubai campus. This website is available each year for admissions, imt.edu/ admissions/ pgdm/; the website has all the details of the step-by-step process for admission and college information too. The application form, fees and dates are mentioned on the website. For 2023, the dates are the GDPI, and the WAT process will start in the first week of February, and by 3rd week of March, they will declare the results. As for the classes, they will begin in June last week. A reservation for Kashmiri Migrants is there wherein a test percentile relaxation of 5% and a reservation of seats of 5% for Kashmiri Migrants is there. The admission process is smooth and transparent.
The Summer Internship Process begins in the first term, and the final placement begins in the 5th term. The average placement is 18 lakhs, and I plan to join corporate life and try to work outside India. I am currently not well-informed to comment on other placement-related activities.
I started to prepare for CAT in February 2021, which helped me to crack CAT 2021. Since the first day of my preparation, I took coaching from Elites Grid which taught us important concepts. They also made videos containing info on the application form, the last day of submission, fees, and any last-minute changes. I would want one change: the girls' fees should be removed to give them more chances.
Students become eligible for campus placements in their 2nd year i.e. 5th trimester. Some of the companies that visited campus include Marico, Reckitt, Deloitte, ICICI Bank, Cognizant, Cisco, and Infosys consulting. The average package is 17.35 LPA. The highest package is around 34LPA (domestic) and 68 LPA (International) All students get placed, and 100 per cent of placements take place. I will be joining the corporate industry post my degree.
The admission process at IMT is quite simple. The candidates are shortlisted on the basis of scores, profiles, and work experience. If even one of them is exceptional, you would likely get the call. Once shortlisted, you will get an interview call from the college. The application fees would be around 2000-2500 INR. The interview process would most likely be conducted online like it was in the last few years.
When we first start college, we have a month-long foundation term under our belts. Around the end of August, our first term begins, and by the end of September, companies are starting to approach us about summer internship opportunities. At SIP week, several large corporations made extremely generous offers, including Mondelez, which offered 1 lakh 50 thousand, Bajaj Auto, which offered 1 lakh 60 thousand, Pernod Ricard, which offered 2 lakhs per month, and Zydus Wellness, which offered 1 lakh per month. Both final placements for seniors and summer internships for juniors had 100% placement rates.
We had to complete the admission form in January, and then, based on our CAT/XAT/GMAT scores, we received a call letter for GDPI. The admissions process was both rigorous and easy. I took the CAT exam, so I uploaded my 96 percentile CAT score in the admission form. As a result of my high score, I received a call letter from GDPI and then had the option to fill out a slot for an interview; the slot I selected was confirmed 15 days before the interview. I then had an interview, which was quite enlightening; the panel was pleased with both of my responses and quite receptive to them. Then, after about a month, I received a letter confirming our conversation and informing me that I had transferred to the IMT Ghaziabad campus. I was then given a timeline to pay my first installment of fees, followed by my second and third installments, and finally, on June 26, I arrived at the college.
Placements at IMT are pretty decent, a lot of companies come to campus to hire good candidates. The large batch size creates a competitive environment in placements but everyone gets placed in good companies with good roles.
The admission process was good. It was revamped that year which included categories like exceptional profile, exceptional work experience, or exceptional score. I appeared for CAT and my admission was done through that score only. There was a critical thinking test and later an interview with two panelists. The process was quick and the portal was also responsive.
Students are eligible for summer placement from 1st semester. Numerous big companies like Nivea, Microsoft, Adani, Marico, and Credit Suisse have visited the campus. They offer profiles in core sales, core marketing, HR, project management, product management, and brand management. The percentage of students getting placements is 100%. The highest package was around 60 LPA( international) and 36 LPA(domestic). I plan to do a job in the marketing field after my MBA.
The application form can be found on the IMT website. The eligibility depends on many factors such as CAT, XAT score, academics, work experience, etc. The cutoff is usually 90-92 percentile in both CAT and XAT. Other than that, if one has exceptional work experience or an exceptional profile like a State player, National player, some very distinct or unique strengths, are also shortlisted. The whole admission process was very smooth. IMT does not offer reservation benefits.
When we enter our college, then we are gone through 1 month of foundation term and then our first term gets started around august, then in the last of September companies for our summer internship start coming. there were some big companies that came at SIP week Mondelez which offered 1 lakh 50 thousand, bajaj auto offered 1 lakh 60 thousand, pernod ricard offered 2 lakhs per month, zydus wellness offered 1 lakh per month, and there were many such companies that made very humongous offers. there were 100 percent placements for summer internships for juniors as well as final placements for seniors.
The admission process was quite rigorous and smooth; we had to fill up the admission form in January, then, based on our scores on CAT/XAT/GMAT, we were given a call letter for GDPI. I gave the CAT exam, that's why I uploaded my CAT score which was 96 percentile in the admission form, and because of my high score, I was given a call letter for GDPI and then I was given the opportunity to fill out the slot for an interview, the slot which I chose I was given the confirmation of that slot 15 days prior to the interview. then I went through an interview it was quite an enriching experience, the panel was quite responsive to my answers and satisfied too, then after one month approx I was given the confirmed conversation letter saying that I had converted IMT Ghaziabad's campus, then I was given the timeline to fill up the first installment of fees, then second and then their, in three installments I filled fees of the first year, and then finally I landed to the college on 26th of June.
Placements happen on campus. Companies that come are listed on the website. The placements committee drives the placements. Most students get placed. If you are good enough you will be placed. So it's the student's responsibility to study and build their CV ..then their placement will happen. College gives multiple opportunities even up to 15 to get placed. After getting my degrees I plan to build my career in the direction of brand management in an FMCG company. IMT is one of the meccas of Marketing and a marketing student will always remain optimistic about their future if they choose IMT
It was a smooth process. I gave CAT and got 90 percentile. IMT values diversity. I had to fill out their form which is detailed and very long but it is appropriate as the need to understand if the candidate is suitable to study here. I got a mail telling me that I need to give the interview as my application has been selected. The whole process occurred seamlessly. Issues were addressed by the very prompt chat system. Also, there was an option for students with high work experience, diversity, and work experience in good companies. This kind of admission process attracts people from different places. We have a good diverse batch. In my class we have engineers, commerce science, and arts graduates, we also have a lawyer and people who had done their Mtech.

SBy - StudentThe admission process involved giving the CAT exam and then further applying to college via the college website. Then based on percentile we were given a shortlist for GD/PI round. Then there was a WAT round and then a PI round based on whose results a composite score is allotted and the final admission offer is given based on that.
SBy - StudentExams - CAT/XAT. the cutoff is around 94% for freshers, but there is provision for people with work ex. The application form will be available on the website. once you are selected for the next round based on your exam scores, then you have to appear for WAT and PI. There is no reservation as such, but there are certain provisions for female candidates, like discounts on fees. overall the admission process is quite smooth and well-managed.
