IMT Nagpur MBA Eligibility Criteria

  • Candidates must be a graduate in any field with 50% or equivalent pass marks
  • The institute accepts the scores of CAT / GMAT. Candidates need to fill the complete IDs of the test score he/she wishes to submit.

Note: There is a relaxation of 5% in CAT/XAT/GMAT percentages for Kashmiri migrants and Kashmiri Pandit/Kashmiri Hindu Families (non-migrants) domiciled in the Kashmir Valley). 

IMT Nagpur MBA Admission Guidelines

The basis for getting shortlisted for further rounds of the IMT Nagpur MBA/PGDM course is CAT/GMAT scores. Candidates who fulfilled the minimum eligibility criteria of IMT Nagpur PGDM admission will be called for Group Execeise and Interview rounds. GE-PI rounds depends upon the following parameters:

IMT Nagpur MBA Course Details

The 2-year MBA course of IMT Nagpur is covered in six trimesters. It is a fully residential programme to equip the students with comprehensive management education.

  • There are 22 Core Subjects, 14 electives (including flexi-core) and 1 summer internship project.
  • In the first year (during three trimesters), students learn the concepts in all the key areas of management. 
  • The last semester will focus on the area of chosen specialization.
  • In the second year, applicants have to choose 12 electives during three terms i.e. Term IV, V & VI. 
  • For Dual Specialization, a student has to choose 6 courses in each specialization area. 
  • During choosing the major-minor specialization, a student has to take 8 courses in Finance, 4 courses from the second area of specialization (if going for it), and the remaining 2 courses compulsorily from other areas. 
  • In case of single specialization, a student has to choose 6 courses in the specialization area + 6 courses from other areas with not more than 3 courses in any area.
