Selection Criteria

The college admits students on the basis of an aptitude test conducted at the college level. Short-listed candidates will be further called for an interview round. 

Note: The admissions are also granted under Sports Quota to the candidates with an extraordinary performance in sports. 

SJCC Scholarships

The college promotes quality education to every student by providing financial assistance to deserving and needy students. There are 2 groups under which the scholarship is provided namely Merit-cum-need based and Extra-curricular and sports. Following are the details for the same:

  • Merit-cum-need based Scholarship: This is provided to economically challenged students who are in the 1st year of their program. Both UG and PG students are eligible for this scholarship. Those hailing from such background must provide evidence of his/her eligibility, enclosing an income/community certificate. SJCC provides 50 such scholarships to students with a good academic record.; 
  • Co-curricular and Sports Scholarship: The students who excel in extra-curricular activities are eligible for this scholarship. Anyone from UG or PG who is actively associated with literary/ cultural or sports activities of the college. While applying for this scholarship, the students must have the reference of at least 2-3 staff members. A total of 50 scholarships are provided by the college.

The placement cell of St. Joseph’s College of Commerce offers placements and internship support to students on and off-campus.
