Master of Computer Applications [MCA] {Lateral} From JMC, Tiruchirappalli

JMC offered two-year full-time M.A., M.Sc., M.Com., M.S.W., and MCA (Lateral) programs and three-year full-time MCA program. To secure admission in these courses, candidates must have passed Bachelor’s degree in relevant field.

Selection of candidates for M.A., M.Sc., M.S.W. and M.Com are merit-based. Whereas, the final selection of the candidates to MBA program is based on TANCET scores followed by Group Discussion. However, final selection of the candidates for MCA program is based on the scores obtained in TANCET/ CET Entrance Exam.

• M.A. (in Arabic, Economics, English, and Tamil), M.Com., M.Sc. (in Botany, Chemistry, Mathematics, Physics, and Zoology), M.C.A. and M.C.A. (lateral) programs are aided by the Government.
• MBA and MCA programs are approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE).
• M.A. (in History) and M.Sc. (in Physics and Zoology) programs are available for Male candidates only.
• M.A. (in Arabic) and M.Sc. (in Fashion Technology & Costume Designing and Nutrition & Dietetics) programs are available for Female candidates only.
• Total Intake capacity in unaided courses for Male Candidates is M.A. in English and History (1 each), M.B.A. (02), M.Sc. (1 in each branch), M.C.A. (01) and M.S.W. (01).
