What students say about Vasantdada Patil Pratishtan's College of Engineering & Visual Arts

Likes

  • The CSE branch is very good, the best and the neatest branch. The faculty is also friendly, but some of them show partiality towards lateral entries. So, please do not repeat this for my juniors. We are losing our motivation to study and get a job.
  • No, but my department head is very experienced and popular. He helps students to do internships in many companies.
  • College helps in building a great resume which is beneficial for our career. The placement opportunities are also good, with many companies visiting our college. The Entrepreneurship Cell in the college provides support and encouragement to students who are enthusiastic about entrepreneurship.
  • Our college provides scholarships for those students who score the best marks throughout the year.
  • The lab is not so good, but it is able to work there. Sports management is actually the best for those who are interested in sports, as they can get the best expansion and facility.
  • I am not a hosteler, but my friends stay in a hostel. They told me it is very good - with freedom and strict rules.
  • In my opinion, college is the best, but it needs to make more improvements on campus, especially in the canteen and on the grounds.

Dislike

  • The hotel rooms are big, but sharing beds for three people. The food was pathetic in the hostel canteen and mess.
  • To conclude, PVPP is a pretty decent college, having all the right ingredients to churn out future engineers.

Placement Experience:

Official placements start in the fourth year. Companies and recruiters include hp, Justdial, Amazon, byjus, vyomlabs and many more. I'm thinking of giving freelancing a try till I get a good internship in graphics or illustration. after knowing the whole drill I'll further pursue a higher post in a well-settled company.

Remarks:

CET is compulsory and a minimum of 45 is required for eligibility for the admission process. You need to visit the college once for the application form fees and dates. If you have a reservation then a caste certificate is necessary to prevail an advantage.

Placement Experience:

Placements are very average, most of the students get placed in normal companies, and avg package is about 3.5LPA, which is pretty low in today's era. The placement cell works actively for the student's placement

Remarks:

To be eligible for Computer engineering... You need to score a good percentile in the MHTCET exam...which is the state entrance examination conducted every year to take admission into engineering colleges. The CAP rounds start just after the exams, and you can apply online as well as offline Nominal fees I was an NT-D category student, so I had to pay 20000 as total fees, and then apply for the tuition fees scheme The admission process is smooth, and the staff too is very cooperative
