I chose the course because it is one of the best colleges for chemistry in Assam. The faculty-to-student ratio is very good.
There are no such internship opportunities available in our college for a Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) degree where companies offer jobs to newly graduated students with a stipend; that is why I always focused on my grades.
I dont know about the placements that the college provides by myself, but as I have heard from my seniors who have already graduated and are doing great in their respective fields, they have great jobs in their hands and are happy now.
Here, we get to see a very affordable pricing in terms of the fee structure.
Some of the great singers of Assam, such as Zubeen and Dikshu, come to the college to promote their movies and entertain the students.
The hostel provides good food, the best accommodation, and is nearby the college. Lastly, it helps you save money.
Apart from being an undergraduate course, Arya Vidyapeeth College is one of the best colleges to study for a Post Graduate degree in Mathematics under Gauhati University.

Dislike

I think the course syllabus needs to change, and the examination patterns should be changed as well. Exams are held, but the question papers are repetitive. It doesnt make any sense because the course is vast, the time duration is less, and the questions are repetitive.
There are no internship programmes available in our college. The institution only provides theoretical knowledge through books and lacks opportunities for entrepreneurship.
Its admission fees are very low, ranging from 6000 to 8000. You only have to pay the fees once; there are no monthly fees charged. You only have to pay the admission and examination fees.
I did not choose the college hostel because its infrastructure was in poor condition and the other facilities were very poor. However, during the diamond jubilee period, the boys hostel was painted and some facilities were added

Review of Arya Vidyapeeth college

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose History as my major as it was one of my fav subjects and the dept. was also very good when I went to visit the college student to teacher ratio is also good 2:1, and all the teachers are very highly qualified holding Ph.D. degrees their teaching method is also very good with the wide amount of experience they have, and they also finish the course by time sometimes even before time so we get time for revisions and exams are also held timely and the exams are medium hard if you've studied well the questions are from syllabus so it will be easy for you.

Class Size : 25Course Fees : INR 6000 per year

Remarks:

Admission is merit basis on your class 12 results, the application date is notified on the official website of the College and the forms are to be collected from the college and submitted there and then the selection is held on a merit basis, and if selected admission fees have to be paid in college.
