Vivekananda Mahavidyalaya Admission

All the admissions at Vivekananda Mahavidyalaya Bardhaman are based on merits obtained by the student in the qualifying examinations. There are no entrance exams for admission at the college.

  • Mode of filling up the application form is online only.
  • Candidates should fill up the application form carefully and upload the necessary documents before submitting.
  • Candidates can choose to apply for more than one course in a single form.
  • Along with the course, candidates can also choose a maximum of 3 honors subjects.
  • Applicants can pay Registration Fees only through online (Net Banking, Credit Card & Debit Card), of any Bank and wait for the declaration of the merit list.
  • After publication of the merit list, applicants may get SMS and Email alert if their name is enlisted in the continued merit list.
  • Candidates can also view their application status (confirmed or waitlisted) by logging in using the student user ID and password which was created during the form filling.
  • If the candidate is confirmed, he/ she will have to accept Hons. subject of their choice for taking admission; otherwise their name will be delisted from that ‘Hons. Subject list’.
  • After the choice of Hons. Subjects, candidates have to choose any combination of General Elective Subjects provided and then proceed for Online Payment of Admission Fees through Debit Card, Credit card, NET Banking, any Bank.

An applicant’s original documents will be checked at the time of commencement of class and if any mismatched data is found, the admission will be treated as cancelled.   • Library: The institute has a well cleaned, documented and decorated library. The library has a huge collection of books, journals, magazines and newspapers. The Library is using SOUL software and also planning to convert into KOHA software very soon
