Rajiv Gandhi University is a Central University, was established in the year of 1984. The University is located in Itanagar, Arunachal Pradesh. Institute of Distance Education was previously known as Centre for Distance Education.

The institute offers UG and PG course in arts stream. Apart form Degree courses the institute also offers certificate courses.

The minimum eligibility for BA is a candidate must have completed 10+2 from the recognized board.
Candidates must have completed graduation from the recognized University to appear MA from IDE, Rajiv Gandhi University.
Selection to all courses are done on the basis of marks obtained in the qualifying Degree.

RGU Distance Education BA Admission 2023

The institute offers three years BA program at UG level. Candidates seeking for BA program must have passed 10+2 from the recognized board or equivalent or National Open School with English as a compulsory subject. Seats will be allotted on the basis of marks obtained in 10+2.

The Institute offers two years MA program in five specializations at PG level. Candidates must have passed 10+2+3 from the institute or University which is recognized by Rajiv Gandhi University. Selection will be done through Graduation Degree.

Fill the form and attach all required documents along with the DD in favour of Registrar, Rajiv Gandhi University, payable at: SBI, Itanagar, Bank Code: 6091 OR Vijaya Bank, Itanagar Branch, Bank Code 8802 OR Vijaya Bank, Arunachal University Branch, Bank Code 8802.
Candidates can also pay Fee through NEFT to Institute of Distance Education, A/c No. 880201010001672, Vijaya Bank, Arunachal University Branch IFSC Code: VIJB0008802. (Copy of the deposit slip & UTR No. to be submitted along with admission forms.)
