Eligibility Criteria

Aspirants seeking admission to a 4-year Full-time B.Tech Program should meet the following criteria as specified by the institute.

Academic Requirement:

1.Candidates who have passed Higher Secondary Examination, Kerala or recognized as equivalent there to, with 50% marks in Mathematics separately and 50% marks in Mathematics, Physics and chemistry put together are eligible for admission. However, candidates who have obtained 45% marks in Mathematics separately with 60% aggregate marks in Physics and Chemistry put together are also eligible for admission.
2.a) Candidates belonging to socially and Educationally Backward Classes (as per G.O(P) No.208/66/Edn. dt. 2.5.1966 and amendments thereof) with a total annual family income not exceeding Rs.6 Lakhs,need 45 % marks in the case of Mathematics separately and 45% marks for Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics put together. The Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe candidates need only a pass mark in the qualifying examination.
b) Socially and Educationally backward Classes (SEBC) within the income limit prescribed above/Persons with Disabilities (PD) category candidates who have obtained 40% marks in Mathematics separately with 55% aggregate marks in Physics and Chemistry put together are also eligible for admission.

Reservation:

50% of the seats are available under merit quota which will be filled by the Government of Kerala. 35% of the seats are filled by the management based on the marks obtained in the qualifying examination and in the entrance examination conducted by the Government of Kerala.

NRI Seats

15 % seats are earmarked for NRI’s which are filled by the management.
