The admission will be based on the common entrance examination conducted by the college.
MA	Economics	20	BA in Economics/ Foreign Trade/ Development Economics(Main) or equivalent degree with at least 45% marks. OR B.Sc in Statistics/ Mathematics(Main) or equivalent degree with at least 70% marks, from a recognized State/Central University.
	Journalism & Mass Communication	20	Passed/Appearing Bachelor Degree from a recognized State/Central University, in relevant streams as core subjects, with at least 45% marks. Professional graduates will be considered, if they secure 60% marks in overall subjects. The admission will be based on the common entrance examination conducted by the college.
	English Language & Literature	20	Passed/Appearing Bachelor Degree from a recognized State/Central University, with at least 50% of marks for languages (either in Part II or Part III). There will be an entrance test conducted for applicants whose core subject is not English.
	Malayalam	20	Passed/Appearing Bachelor Degree from a recognized State/Central University, with at least 50% of marks in the concerned core subjects.
M.Com	Finance	20	Passed/Appearing Bachelor Degree from a recognized State/Central University, with at least 50% of marks in the concerned core subjects.

St. Joseph's College Thrissur PG Selection Criteria

The admission is based on the marks obtained in the qualifying examination (graduation), and/or the common entrance examination conducted by the college (in case of few courses). The counselling is done on the college level.
The candidates need to fill-in the preferred course, professional and academic details.
The final merit (along with a waiting list) of courses will be based on the academic, professional and extracurricular background, and score of the entrance exam (if any).
