The annual fest used to happen at the university, and the fest was very good(used to attract many audiences). There were multiple active clubs on campus conducting different activities every month. Sports were fine, but there was no sports fest at my time. The library was small, but almost every required book was available.
DTC is a good college for CSE, with a friendly environment. The best part is that faculties are very supportive. The college is affiliated to I.P. university, so it has a great advantage for greater noida residents to get an I.P affiliated degree from their home town. The college is not having any lab with apple systems, but it has a descent computer labs with all the required software and updated O.S.
Honestly speaking, the college is trying to improve the level and quality of education as it is implementing new rules and schmes to make student participate in learning but I don't think it would work unless the real change that is good teachers are hired. As a student of delhi Technical campus i would say only maths faculty and electrical faculty is good and well knowledged. The other teachers are just a crap with mocking Phd degrees with no knowledge at all, I would say if you were a little good in your subjects in school then you will possibly turn over them. Even the vocabulary of teachers is so bad that it felt like you are studying in elementary school. No cultural fest, no coding environment, lack of good learning environment are all its drawback. Pros:- Affiliated to IPU. No restrictions in entry and exit time for students. The good teachers are really good here but only 2–3 in number.
There are several cultural societies for the growth of the students such as dance, singing, drama, publication and speaking, painting and some societies working for the betterment of the environment. The college does not have a cricket or a full-size football court but has badminton, volleyball and basketball courts. Annually sports meet is organized by GGSIPU where all the affiliated colleges take part in different sports to compete. College is also having some technical societies like the coding club, Robotics club and a club named random solution where you can implement your own ideas to create some good stuff. College on regular intervals organizes different workshops and activities for students to learn more about the current environment of the job sector and technology. The main Fest is the Anugoonj which is the combined fest of all the colleges of GGSIPU. It is a massive event organized every year sure you will enjoy it.
Hostels are just ok to live in, not so high-fi. You will get all the basic amenities such as Wi-fi, Laundry, Mess, AC, warm water in winter etc. These are also divided into categories such as double share, triple share with AC and NON AC. Prices are available on the website according to the room you choose. Mess charges are included in the hostel fee and the food quality is average and you will only serve Vegetarian food that's a negative which I feel Also, ample PG and rented rooms and apartments are available around the college at reasonable prices you can also check them.
The college accepts students from both JEE mains and IPU entrance tests for admission. The fee for the IPU entrance test was 1000, and my rank was 14k. I chose CSE as a general student and the improvements I will suggest is to reduce the intake of no. of students.
PJBy - Paras JainAll GGSIPU ADMISSION ARE TAKEN THROUGH JEE .IPU counseling cutoff may vary depending on the desired course and 75% of seats are reserved for Delhi. And There are some extra quotas as well like defence , Sikh ,sports etc
ABy - AmitabhThe admission process is done through the GGSIPU counselling as it is affiliated with it. The candidate has to register on the official portal of GGSIPU for counselling, merit is decided on the basis of JEE Mains ranking. About, 80 per cent of the seats are reserved for Delhi candidates and the rest for outside. If seats are left vacant then they are filled through management quota.
