Course Details

Karnataka NEET counseling 2021 registration has been extended till December 27, 2021. Candidates seeking admission to the MBBS program can apply online on the official website of the conducting body. Karnataka NEET Counseling 2021 seat allotment dates and the provisional merit list will soon be released on the official website.

NITTE University offers a 5.5 years MBBS program for a total of 150 students. The merit list for the same is prepared on the basis of marks obtained in the NEET exam. Students will be informed about the admission process through the official website soon.

NITTE University MBBS Eligibility Criteria

Students aspiring admission at NITTE university for the MBBS course need to satisfy the following criteria to be eligible:

Completion of 10+2 with minimum 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology.
Candidates must have completed 17 years of age by December 31 seeking admission to that academic year.
Candidates must have appeared for NEET- UG and successfully cleared the required cut off.

NITTE University MBBS Admission Criteria

Students are selected on the basis of their NEET score followed by selection through the centralized counselling process. After qualification, students will get an admission call from NITTE University.

NITTE University- MBBS Entrance Exam (h3)

NEET-UG is an all India screening test for students interested in pursuing undergraduate MBBS, BDS and its analogous BAMS, BUMS and BHMS.
The paper contains 180 questions and amounts to 720 marks. For the correct answer, 4 marks are awarded whereas for every wrong answer 1 mark is deducted.
NEET UG is an MCQ based paper and the duration is 3 hours. Students can appear for the paper in 11 different languages.
The students are tested on three subjects- Biology, Physics and Chemistry.

NITTE University- MBBS How To Apply (h3)

Interested candidates can follow the given steps to proceed with an application at NITTE University for the MBBS course.

For the candidates who are willing to take admission in NITTE University, after the announcement of NEET results, a merit list will be made.
Students should regularly visit the official website for updates regarding admission, results, allocation etc.
After successful registration of candidates and submitting documents online with registration fee, students will be given dates for the counselling round on the basis of the merit list decided by the University.

NITTE University MBBS Course Details

NITTE University provides a Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery (MBBS) program for students across 5 years.

The MBBS course at NITTE University comprises a total of 4.5 years with 1 year compulsory internship included.
The programme is divided into 9 semesters.
It is a Professional degree approved by Medical Council Of India, MCI.
75% Attendance is compulsory for MBBS course. Students failing to meet the attendance criteria are debarred from giving final exams.
The 1st year is of 1 year term while the 2nd year is 1.5 years long.
Yearly examinations are taken along with internal assessment and viva at NITTE University.
Students pursuing MBBS at NITTE University are given Stipend while doing internship.

Ans. KS Hegde Medical Academy has NAAC A+ grade accreditation and has a lower fee ratio compared to JSS Mysore. JSS Medical college is NAAC A grade accreditation and somewhat far from the residential city. Both the colleges are renowned for their MBBS courses.
