Eligibility Criteria
Aspirants seeking admission to the Program should meet the following criteria as specified by the institute.
- Old Testament: An applicant should have passed at least two Hebrew Courses at B.D. level, (other than the preliminary course) securing a Second Class average.
- New Testament: An applicant should have passed at least three Greek courses at B.D. level, other than the preliminary (two in the case of applicants who have passed at least one advanced course in another classical Biblical language) with a minimum of Second Class average.
- Christian Theology: An applicant should have passed one course at B.D./Graduate level (other than the preliminary course) either in Greek, Hebrew, Latin, Syriac or Sanskrit, (or) possess the ability to comprehend theological literature in German or French to be tested by a P.G. College.
- Religions: An applicant should have passed one course at B.D. level either in Sanskrit, Pali or Arabic examined by the Senate.
- History of Christianity, Missiology, Communication and Women’s Studies: For these branches, there is no Biblical or Classical language requirement for admission. However, an applicant is required to have a working knowledge of the languages necessary to study the primary sources when writing the thesis.
Course Details
The M.Th. in Christian Ministry will require an additional fee of Rs. 3,000 towards practical training
