TKWs Institute of Banking and Finance (TKWSIBF), New Delhi Scholarship

TKWs Institute of Banking and Finance is determined to ensure that deserving students are not denied access to best in class banking and finance education. The institute works consistently to bring different scholarships and financial assistance programs to make education more affordable and accessible. Seat allotment is done basis qualifying marks and performance in the admission interview. Total seats are divided into 3 categories for the PG course and 4 categories for the UG course. These categories are as follows:

Category Eligibility
General (50% Seats) General seats are for students that meet minimum eligibility criteria for a course and are able to clear the entrance test and interview in an expected manner
Merit (20% Seats) These are reserved for students with minimum 85% marks in 12th for ADBF and additionally, 60% marks in Graduation for PGDBF. Students undergo an additional interview with institute director to be selected on merit seats
Management (20% Seats) Students that meet minimum eligibility criteria for a course but are not able to clear the entrance test and interview are offered seats under management category. These students do not have access to any scholarships
EWS Seats (10% Seats) Students that have merit in academic and belong to the economic weaker section of the society are selected under EWS Seats. These seats are fulfilled through various NGO tie-ups and are only applicable to the UG program

Scholarships Available to General Seat Students

  • Professional Banking Communicator: Offered to students who have demonstrated exceptional oratory skills by participating and winning in debates, extempore, elocution, presentations, etc. at school or college level.
  • Ace Banker Scholarship: Offered to students who have participated and excelled in extra-curricular activities such as sports, arts, Olympiads, volunteering, organizing, leading, etc.
  • Career Enhancement Scholarship: Offered to students who have more than 3 months of full-time work experience after graduation.

Scholarships available to Merit Seat Students

  • Maa Saraswati Scholarship (Up to 100% on term fee): Awarded to merit students who have secured amongst top 3 ranks in their college. Student needs to submit an SOP and proof of their rank. Final selection based on an interview with Director.
  • Dr Kalam Vision Scholarship (Up to 100% on term fee): Awarded to merit students with excellent communication skills. Final selection will happen through a presentation, to be made to academic panel on a pre-assigned topic.
  • Chairman’s Scholarship (50% on term fee): Awarded to merit students who have scored more than 90% marks in any subject in their last qualifying exams. Student that has scored above 90 percentile in CAT/MAT in last 1 year will also be eligible for this scholarship.

Accommodation Support to Students from outside Delhi

The institute offers free accommodation to deserving students. This is a support scheme launched by TKWs Institute of Banking and Finance Society to help the needy students by giving them economical access to PG education.  Any selected student from outside Delhi can avail this support. Under these support schemes, the student is provided with free accommodation for a period of 12 months in the TKWsIBF partner hostel.
