IIT Roorkee CAT 2022 MBA Cut off will be released soon after the conclusion of CAT 2022 result in January 2023. The Department of Management Studies, IIT Roorkee decides the cut off for entrance to its MBA program. The cut-off score is decided to screen the first round of candidates who will then proceed to the personal interview rounds.

IIT Roorkee MBA Admission through CAT 2022: Eligibility Criteria

IIT Roorkee has laid down specific eligibility criteria for the candidates seeking admission to its MBA program through CAT 2022. To be eligible for the program; 

• Candidates should have a bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized university with a minimum of 60% marks (55% for SC/ ST/ PwD).
• Final year students are also eligible to apply for IIT Roorkee MBA Admission 2023-25. Such candidates will be admitted provisionally till they complete all requirements of the qualifying degree with minimum percentage and CGPA or its equivalent by the specified date. 
• The percentage will be considered based on the aggregate marks or CGPA received by the candidate in the qualifying degree exam.
• JEE qualified IIT graduates having a CGPA of 7 and above are exempted from CAT 2022 and will be directly called for the Personal Interview round.

IIT Roorkee MBA Admission through CAT 2022: Application Process

• Visit the official website of IIT Roorkee- https://iitr.ac.in/
• Click on MBA Admission 2023-25.
• Register as a ‘New User’.
• Complete the application form for the important details like personal, academic, work experience details.
• Upload necessary documents like photograph, signature, graduation degree certificate, class 10 and class 12 certificates, category certificate, CAT 2022 Score Card.
• Proceed to pay the online application fee of INR 1600 for GN/ EWS/ NC-OBC category, INR 800 for SC/ ST/ PwD category and female candidates.
• Take a printout of the application form for future reference. The unique registration ID will be sent to your registered email for future correspondence.

IIT Roorkee MBA Selection Process through CAT 2022

In the first round, candidates will be selected based on their performance in CAT 2022. The cut off determined by the Department of Management Studies, IIT Roorkee will be final in shortlisting the first round of candidates. The final merit list for admission in the MBA program will be based on their aggregate performance in CAT 2022 exam, personal interview, and work experience as per the weightage for each criterion are given below:

Category-wise Admission Requirements

• Candidates who belong to OBC category are required to submit a photocopy of the category certificate only in the format available on the website.
• OBC Non-creamy layer certificate should have been issued by a competent authority.
• Candidates belonging to SC/ST/PD must submit the requisite certificate from a competent authority as given in Annexure-1 on prescribed format by Govt. of India at the time of Interview.
• The photocopies of the same are to be sent along with the Completed Application Form.

Regular Candidates

• Candidates who are final year students of the relevant undergraduate programs are also eligible to apply for the program, granted that they can produce the required documents on time. They will be required to submit a certificate as per the Performa given in Annexure-2A & 2B at the time of Interview.
• However, they will be required to submit the proof of having passed the qualifying examination with the required percentage or CGPA latest by the specified dates. 
• Full-time Sponsored Candidates: Candidates must have a minimum of two years of full-time work experience in a responsible capacity in a Registered Firm/Company/Industry/Educational and Research Institution/Govt./Quasi Govt./Autonomous Organization in the relevant field in which they are seeking admission. The Firm/Company/Industry shall either be a public sector undertaking or a public limited company registered in a stock exchange or a private concern whose annual turnover during the past two years exceeds Rs. 5 crores. The institution should be AICTE recognized and the candidates must submit a duly filled up Annexure-3 by the sponsoring institution.

CAT 2022 Cut off for other IITs
