B.A. LL.B. and BBA. LL.B. courses require that a candidate must have passed Class 12 or equivalent with at least 45% marks in General Category and 40% marks in SC/ST Category.

Candidates can apply for any of the programs available in the college either online or offline. Following is the detailed procedure for applying:
Online:
- Visit the official website of ‘Law College of Dehradun’.
- Click on Admissions and then on ‘Apply Now’.
- Click on ‘Register Online’.
- Fill all the details correctly in the registration form.
- Pay an application fee of INR 1200 through Credit/ Debit Card/ Net Banking/ Demand draft/ NEFT/ RTGS/ Direct payment into bank account.
- After the submission of application fee, the duly filled application form will appear on the screen. Download and take a print out of the same for future reference.
Note: A processing fee of INR 50 shall be charged from the students in case of payment through Debit/ Credit Card/ Net Banking and then the total sum will be INR 1250.
Offline:
- Visit the official website of ‘Law College of Dehradun’.
- Click on Admissions and then on ‘Apply Now’.
- Click on ‘Download Form’.
- Take a print out of the application form.
- Fill all the details correctly in the application form.
- Pay an application fee of INR 1200 through Cash/ Demand draft drawn in favour of Law College Dehradun, payable at Dehradun.

The Law College Dehradun offers scholarship to candidates belonging to Uttarakhand state and to students belonging to minority category. The complete details on scholarships available is given below:
- Scholarship for Uttarakhand Domicile in all courses
- 26% waiver on tuition fee is offered every year to all the students who are permanent residents of Uttarakhand.
- 10% concession is provided to the students who have done UG from Uttaranchal University and have now opted for a PG course.
- Scholarship for SC/ ST and OBC Categories
SC/ST/OBC category students are given scholarships by the State govt. based on the gross income of their family after tallying from the required documents like, caste certificates, income certificates, etc.
