Ph.D. ECE: Eligibility
Minimum 55% marks or CGPA not less than 6 on a scale of 10 in regular M. Tech Degree of a University or equivalent for Ph.D. in Engineering /Technology in respective branch. GATE/NET qualified students shall be preferred.

X & XII (min 60%) BE/ B Tech (ECE or relevant areas of Electronics Engineering) (min 60%) and ME/ M. Tech /MS (ECE or Instrumentation or Measurements or Signal Processing or Embedded Systems or VLSI ) with a minimum of 60% marks or grade point average from any accredited Indian or Foreign University.
All who have completed (or going to complete) BE/B.Tech or ME/M.Tech in Engg (any branch including CS/ECE EE/Civil/Inst./Biotech.) or B.Arch. or Master's degree in Science/Maths/IT/ICT/Computer Science or MCA. M.E/M.Tech in Electronics Engineering / Applied Electronics/ECE/Telecommunication Engg. / VLSI Design /Microwaves/ Embedded Systems / Wireless communication or equivalent.
Ph.D. ECE: Admission Process
Candidates will be selected through an Entrance Test followed by an interview. The Entrance Test will next be conducted in the first or second week of July.
Selection Process:
- The eligible candidates will have to appear in a written MCQ examination of 1-hour duration followed by an interview to be held about which will be informed to the candidates after the initial screening process.
- Candidates who have already passed UGC/ CSIR (JRF) Examinations / NET / SET / SLET/ GATE/ Teacher Fellowship or equivalent examinations or passed the M.Tech / ME degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering or equivalent examination need not appear at the written examination and can directly appear at the interview.
